Dr. Shetty is like most gastroenterologists who only want to perform scopes—basically, an assembly line. The last time that he did an endoscopy, he was in a hurry and afterwards, only spoke to me as they were moving me back to the recovey part of the facility. I was so groggy that I only remembered two days later about an instruction that he had given me. This is why you bring someone with you, but the doctor has to make the effort to walk a little further to your bed. I have had very little guidance with ongoing issues over the last ten years as his patent.
