Dr. Bandhana Bajaj, MD

This is directed at the practice as a whole. I have been once for a well visit, which is covered by my insurance. I don’t even owe a copay. Over a year later, this practice is trying to bill me $500. My insurance has not denied coverage of this appointment. I would avoid this unless you want to fight charges for months.

I have been seeing Dr. Bajaj for over 12 years, through my 20s and 30s, and through two pregnancies. She is attentive, patient, inquisitive, and not judgmental—everything you want AND NEED in a doctor so any minor details or concerns are heard or caught and addressed appropriately.

I absolutely love Dr. Bajaj. She was recommended to me when I was new to DC, but a friend who had moved out of DC, but went to her for years. The practice is a seamless experience. An easy online check-in process (no need to go so early), easy payment for co-pay (no dealing with bills later), little to no wait time to be seen, excellent nursing staff and hardly any wait for the doctor. It’s also easy to schedule with them. No complaints here at all. She is personable, knowledgeable, never makes you feel rushed at all, but does not waste your time. An overall great experience each time I have visited. I have been an established patient for a year and have seen her for a problem visit where I left feeling so much better. I have recommended her to my friends and colleagues as well. Great practice and Excellent care from Dr. Bajaj.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bajaj for over 15 years. I always look forward to our chats and always tear up because she saved my life in 2010 by thinking outside the box and not sticking just to the books and protocol. Her kindness and bedside manners and thoroughness while being completely attentive make her the perfect doctor, not to mention that she is one of the rare doctors that don’t keep you waiting in your gown because they double book. You can tell that she is there because she loves what she does and cares about women’s health.

Dr. Bajaj is always very professional and friendly. The office in general is also very punctual and I would highly recommend her and the office.

I made a last minute appt due to some difficulties with my birth control. She was very attentive, listened and was energetic throughout the meeting. I felt it was positive because my needs were met and I felt she was interested in making sure the problem was fixed.

So far we have seen 3 doctors at Capital Care in DC and we found the perfect one in Dr. Bajaj. She is funny and very attentive, I've asked her like 100 questions and she has always been gracious and in a great mood. Other doctors made me feel uneasy and like I was wasting their time but not her. I hope I'm so lucky to have her deliver my baby.

I was recommended by fellow alumnae when I moved to DC. She's been knowledgeable about basic OBGYN needs as well as birth control. She implanted my IUD today, and it was practically painless. She and the sonogram technician made it almost a pleasant experience. I also called her nurse to ask a question. Listening to the recording tonight, she disagreed, and called me back to correct/discuss after hours, even though it wasn't urgent. She's a warm, personable doctor who makes me very comfortable.
