Dr. Bao Nguyen, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for more than 10 years and followed him wherever he moved. He is very caring. My total cholesterol was very high but the LDL and HDL were good. I didn't want to take statins so he decided to do calcium score test and a corroded Doppler test to see what my arteries looked like. They looked very good, no plaque, but when the corroded doppler was done they found that I had Lymphoma. Luckily it was a very early stage and after one chemo treatment my lymph nodes are normal. I am grateful that Dr. Bao recommended that I do the corroded Doppler. Otherwise we may not have found it until a later stage when I would have had symptoms.

Dr. Nguyen is one of the best doctors I have. I see him once a year for my Physical well check. He always took the time to review my charts, medical history and test results. If needed, he would refer me to see the specialists. He is always patient, listens and answers all of my questions. I am very pleased to have Dr. Nguyen as my PCP who is taking very good care of my health.

A 5 star review isn't enough to give to this practice. Dr. Nguyen is truly an amazing, kind and exceptional doctor. He has been our family doctors for many years now. He listens to your concerns and is very caring and personable. He does not hesitate to help and personally reach out to specialist to see you immediately if there's an urgent matter. We never feel like he is rushing us through an exam to get on to the next patient. Also, his staffs are wonderful and very friendly, always there to greet you and return your call promptly. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and his practice.

We have used Dr. Nguyen as our primary care doctors for many years now. Dr. Nguyen is kind and an exceptional doctor. He listens to your concerns and is very caring and personable. I went to Dr Nguyen 90 days ago with an A1C off the chart to a 5.5. My blood pressure was 160/112. Now it’s 110/70. Great Dr.

I think Dr Bao Nguyen is an extremely competent, easy to communicate with, thorough and proactive. I am grateful he is my doctor. He has helped me often.

I am sorry for this one star review. This review is more related to their billing practice and experience nothing about Dr Bao Nguyen. I sent my son to this doctor by seeing so many good review. I am having nightmare experience with their billing department. Billing department has charged some wrong charge code which is no longer correct. I have been spending number of hours calling insurance company, billing department and doctor office. My Insurance company already called their billing department multiple times and gave correct charge code. When I spoke to billing department they told me they can not correct until it is instructed by Terresa from doctor office. I called Terresa and gave her insurance company number. after few hour she confirmed she has correct code and will resubmit with correct code. After few week I receive again same invoice. I called insurance company and they told billing department has yet not corrected this code and they kept me on hold and they call billing d

Dr. Nguyen has been treating me for 4 years, since I moved to this area. He is professional, kind, and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for many years and have followed him from different practices. I’m a strong believer that if you find a really good doctor, you stick with them even if the location isn’t exactly convenient. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable and really takes time to listen to all your concerns. Never does he make you rushed in this “drive thru” medical mentality era. He really is a great guy and truly cares about his patients and will follow up with you. Trust me when I say, I am not the easiest patient, meaning medically but Dr. Nguyen is not only very through, you can tell he truly loves what he does by helping people get better. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and have several times. I’d give 100 stars if I could!

Dr. Nguyen is the doctor I'd been looking for my entire life. He literally saved my life when another doctor prescribed a blood pressure medication which caused my blood sodium to plummet to a level where I could easily have had a stroke. I was dizzy and light headed for what seemed to be no reason. I looked just fine, but Dr. Nguyen listened to all of my concerns and put me through a series of thorough tests to determine what the problem was. I had to go to the hospital for the weekend and have a sodium drip bag attached to my arm with an IV, but I was out of the danger zone quickly thanks to Dr. Nguyen. Every time I've ever had a concern, he listens. He believes me. He cares about me. And he's incredibly thorough and competent. His bed side manner is incredible, and I couldn't recommend him more highly!

My husband and I have been more than pleased to have Dr. Nguyen as our primary care physician for many years. We trust his professional care because he's come through for us so often. In addition, he's a really caring person. So long as he's available, we'll be his patients.

Dr. Nguyen has been our family's doctor for many years now, and I feel lucky to be able to write that. Dr. Nguyen is a wonderful physician - knowledgeable, comprehensive and empathetic. Doctor visits can be inherently stressful, and yet Dr. Nguyen creates such a warm atmosphere that the dread recedes. Highly, highly recommended.

My family and I have followed Dr. Nguyen through several practices, even paying for concierge service at one point just to stay with him. He is thorough and has a great bedside manner...the combination of which is sometimes elusive. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area!

My family followed Dr Bao Nguyen when he changed practices, and the reasons are many. He CARES for his patients. He takes time to get to know each one and their families. When you have an issue, he doesn’t settle for the easy answer. He gets to the bottom of your problem. Had it not been for his persistence, I would likely be a widow right now, and my future grandchildren would never know their Papa. In my opinion, he is one of the few top notch physicians in this area from bedside manor to healed patients.

A great Dr. doesnt rush you and makes sure to address all your concerns.

I followed Dr. Nguyen out from his former practice in McLean and I'm glad I did. He's thorough, compassionate, and very human. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I had a very good experience with the front office staff and the nurse I saw before seeing Dr. Nguyen. Very long drive to get out to the new location from my home inside the beltway, but worth it.

Dr. Bao Nguyen is the best family doctor I have ever had in my life. It has been since 2007. A very thorough doctor that leaves nothing to chance or unknown.

Dr Nguyen saved my life he found out my health condition I was walking around sick and didn't know what was wrong with me but Thanks to Dr Nguyen I am much better. Follow up on a annual physical visit. Dr. Nguyen listened to all my concerns and addressed them. He is keen on me getting necessary follow ups with specialists promptly. I have been Dr. Nguyen's patient for over a decade. He is very skilled, caring and patient.
