Been trying to get an appointment for a year!
I got in with her PA however, was very disappointed. Made my next appointment way ahead of time to make sure I could bet in with Bakus here to find out they scheduled me with the same PA when the front desk told me spicifically that I would be seeing Bakus. So disappointment is a understatement!!!

Doctor Backus was very friendly and very knowledgeable when we first met. I since moved from the area and now am waiting for an appointment with my new primary care physician. I asked for her to prescribe mine and my wife’s medicine to a Walgreens here in Brooksville, Florida since we are running out of our meds. She did prescribe us a 14 day refill which we got. I’ve called her office several times to get more meds and talked to her staff. Obviously the staff did not communicate with the doctor since we haven’t been able to get our meds.

Dr Bakus is a kind, caring and thorough Dr who is really interested in her patients. I am confident that she will make all the right decisions to keep me healthy. It is always a pleasure to visit her.

Best Doc EVER
Dr Bakus is one of the most compassionate, kind-hearted, and sympathetic doctors I've ever seen! She really listens to you, spends time to get to know your story, wants, and needs, and never rushes you out of the door. I love that she is so well educated in holistic and alternative medicine but is still a family doctor. She understands how to treat with modern medicine and support through alternative medicine too! You will not be disappointed meeting her and getting the treatment you deserve.

There is no timer running to get you in and out of Dr Bakus's office. She spends as much time as needed not just to resolve the immediate problem but to prevent it from happening ever again. Extremely knowledgeable about blending traditional and natural medicines. When following up to review blood test results, she had hand written (before my visit!!) a better explanation of the numerical values on the test results. Then added a written solution to correct some issues that needed attention.
