Dr indifferent and uninvested in my health or survival. Incompetent and spaced out. Flat out lied to my face. Took no notes and every print out for each visit was exactly the same. I recorded my visits. I had recurrence of sarcoidosis but not totally conclusive. Dr did not advise me of secondary problems. My eyes felt odd so I went to ophthalmologist and told I had eye infection from sarcoid and could have lost my eyesight. When I told her about it, she said she was relieved because it supported her diagnosis, not I’m relieved that you saw the eye doctor. Or maybe I should have told you to check your eyes. And skin and larynx- which I did after going to Mayo Clinic webpage. After about a year into this she said that my symptoms might be from Covid. I said that I had Covid after I had sarcoid symptoms. She said she was sure about the timing. I had Covid 4 months after symptoms began. she ordered cat scan and told me I had to pay to mail cat scan disc, that she was unable! Ignorant!!

Terrible Doctor -would give a zero rating
She is without question the worst doctor I have ever had. Her bedside manner is no bedside manner and she left me feeling that she was indifferent to my case and was just going through the motions. I was 'scheduled' for an important test by her to determine if I had a reocurance of the an ailment that almost killed me once before and no where was that scheduled appointment listed. In fact,I called her office to make sure and I was told I wasn't scheduled for the test. I eventually took it a month later after I met with her PA who only when I was there in front of the PA realized that the test wasn't listed. Frankly, I was in schock. I simply can't tell you what a terrible experience it has been being under her care and the only reason for remaining is because as slow as she is switching to another pulmonolgist would take up time and as my sympthims are worening I don't want to waste time. On top of all of that it takes between 4 and 6 months get an anppoint withher.

Dr Chatr-Aryamontri was amazing. Very knowledgeable while remaining personable (a rare combination) She asked questions regarding my sleep apnea that no other doctor has asked me. I was very impressed.

Non-responsive
Was prescribed a CPAP machine. The pressure was too high and I was having trouble with it. I was told to contact the doctor for a prescription change. She was on vacation and the doctor filling in for her couldn't help. When you get a CPAP machine you are supposed to use it for the first 90 days in order for the insurance to cover it. Mine was not working properly and I was given no help. She never called back after her vacation. I definitely would not recommend this practice. They don't seem very concerned about their patients.

Dr. Barbara Chatr-Aryamontri was a great match for me. But because Dr. Steven Ritter (same practice, Medical Associate of the Hudson Valley) no-showed for an appointment, a dispute ensued and she released me from her care, abandoning me. I recommend staying away from the entire practice, the staff is rude and incompetent.

Dr. Chat-Aryamontri has been a wonderful and helpful professional assisting my adult child with special needs to relieve ongoing nightly sleep disturbance. She is attentive, accessible, worked with us as a family, inquired about progress and setbacks, and worked on determining a proper dosage of my daughter’s medications. She was available for questions and feedback every step of the way. During COVID she conducted effective telehealth sessions which helped my child remain at ease to offer genuine feedback to Dr. C. without the stress of traveling to a physician’s office in a pandemic. I sincerely recommend Dr.C for her knowledge, bedside manner and quality of care.

I'm really ill which was the reason I showed up 20 minutes late. I know its not right to be late.I was told I had to reschedule. I asked if there were any other options, could I wait? are there cancelations in the meantime? "No, you have to reschedule." I know businesses are not run with a series of exceptions, but couldnt she even fake it that she cared when I said, "It was the best I could do"? Many reviewers say they wait to be seen at appt-time. Rescheduling meant me waiting ANOTHER 3 mos.

Well ileft the office in tears. That has happened twice in my life. One when i found out i had cancer. Andthis. All i needed was a script for a new cpap machine or a sleep study if she needed. It was my first visit as i had transferred .Maybe i wouldnt have been so emotional if i had not been suffering for the last 2 months with a broken machine and had been given the run around from the Cpap company...regardless she acted impatient She didnt view records. Denied they were there. They were.

During an appointment she proclaimed, "I practice medical ageism" when discussing the treatment plan of an elderly female. This made clear why, upon review, she had chosen to do the bare minimum over multiple years to treat COPD in a 75+ patient. If you are above a certain age or have a loved one above a certain age & are considering seeing her, I highly advise you to rethink this decision and seek a consultation elsewhere by someone who is not proud to practice such discrimination & negligence.

I took my mother to her at the recommendation of her cardiologist. She was cold, impatient and snarky, which is unacceptable when dealing with a geriatric patient. She was asked to write down everything she was asking my mother to do, and instead of giving her all the information she talked about she simply wrote to call the company for the c-pap machine. We won't be going back.

Dr. Chat is one of the best doctors I’ve been to, and as a 48 year old with narcolepsy, rheumatoid arthritis and MS, I’ve been to many a doctor. She is caring, knowledgable, and skilled. Dr. Chat has given me my life back and I am eternally grateful.

The office visit with D. Chat (as she is called), was very informative, yet it was a total lack of communication afterwards that was the problem. A medication she prescribed was causing severe depression and I had no response from her as to whether I could just stop taking it or had to taper. After the third time I called (which was the next day), I was told she would call me back immediately after her present patient. It is 3 weeks later and still no call back. My GP said to stop taking it.

She was cold, never asked about my well being, if I exercise, or what supplements I take. she put me into a box without knowing who I am. She ordered a procedure she never discussed with me, gave me an incorrect contact of a provider who didn't even offer that service! I was told to bring in my chip from my Apnea machine the Doctor told me she was not sure she could read it, to give a week and then call her office for results. The chip was returned to me in an envelope, with no explanation.
