Dr. Barbara Plucknett, MD

This office clearly doesn't know which way is up. They are incapable of communicating anything to the physicians, and repeatedly send prescriptions and orders with the wrong details, even when asked to correct them.

In short, if you are the slightest bit unhappy or not confident in the level of care from Dr. Plucknett and her staff, I urge you to seek a second opinion like I did. If I hadn't I would have had an unnecessary D&C (a surgical procedure in the hospital under general anesthesia to remove tissue from the uterus).

Office is disorganize mess. They won’t follow through with ordering the tests they’re supposed to order. Routine office procedures that are completed with ease by any other medical office are overwhelming to the office.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! On first meeting Dr. Plucknett I felt very comfortable and trusted her practice. After about 5 months of recurring discomfort and pain as well as multiple office visits, I still have yet to receive any solution to my problems. I have had lab tests done by Dr. Pluknett and have heard back on 0 results. I called a dozen times for the results but their has been no call backs or answers, no one has cared to review my chart. The entire office is unprofessional and rude. There is no consideration of the patient being a person who is in need of medical help. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Cannot imagine why a doctor would give a test and then not allow the patient to see their results.

I am so very impressed with Dr. Barbara Plucknett. I originally took my elderly mother to her due to what we though was a bladder falling. My mother was frightened. She was so very kind and gentle to my mother. She helped us rule out the problem. I just took my mother back 4 years later due to some other issues my mothwr had. Again, she is very thorough. She helped my mother and she took time to gently explain my mothers options. There are very few doctors that have the clinical expertise and are kind and gentle. I wouldnt go anywhere else. She is excellent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Plucknett's for several years. She is well educated in her field and in general medicine as well. She is a skilled surgeon and has changed my everyday life with an elective surgery.

DOES NOT SUPPORT A WOMAN'S AUTONOMOUS RIGHTS!!!! I went for a consultation for a tubal ligation surgery, asked the receptionist TWICE if they have any policies against sterilizing younger women and was not given a straight answer. Nurse practitioner didnt even entertain the idea of the procedure and before even speaking to me told me they would not perform the procedure. Staff continuously tried to convince me not exercise my autonomous rights. NO DOCTOR SHOULD TELL A WOMAN SHE CANNOT MAKE THE CHOICE TO NEVER HAVE CHILDREN.

Dr. Plucknett came highly recommended to me and during the time she treated me, I was extremely pleased to have such a skilled and compassionate physician caring for my health. This included a recent surgery she performed for me. However, upon arriving at her office for a follow-up visit last week, I was treated in an astonishingly rude and uncalled-for manner by her front office staff. Because this experience exacerbated my anxiety disorder, which is well-documented in my chart, I left the office with the intent to call and re-schedule for another time. Today, however, I received a letter from her office in the mail stating that she could no longer continue as my physician....apparently listening only to the woman in the front office rather to hear both sides of the story before making a decision. I am sad to have lost her excellent services as a physician because of this but am apparently now seeing her "true colors"

I have been a patient of Dr. Plucknett's for a number of years. She was highly recommended by two different physicians. My experience with Dr. Plucknett and her staff has only been positive. She preformed two surgeries on me. Both were successful. Without the surgeries I would not be able to be employed. The surgeries have had a positive impact on my daily life.

She “missed” two very large fibroids over several ultrasounds. I found another dr who recommended surgery ASAP, my uterus is sideways due to the fibroids! I called her office for my records. They said I need to pay them to get them! Be warned. She will send you for test after test to string you along and get as much money into her pocket as possible without actually doing anything to help. Plus, she sells supplements out of her office, something I always thought was odd.

Terminated me out of the blue without notice for being “ noncompliant” with coming over to be told my lab work was normal!! I had already reviewed my bloodwork with my primary and even called the office manager to tell her this and thought everything was ok! But 2 months later I get terminated without notice and they refuse to refill my medication! No explanation and will not listen to my side of the story!

Put me in collection for a bill that I should not have received to begin with, and for which I have been actively trying to dispute for almost a year now. Initially said they take my insurance then billed me saying they don’t. Situation has not been resolved because Dr. Plucknett and her staff have not returned calls or follow up. Result, they have damaged my credit and making buying a new home very difficult. Bottom line, nobody there cares, including Dr. Plucknett. INJUSTICE - NIGHTMARE Beware

If you want to be talked down to or spoken to like the micromachine man then go to Dr.Plucknett.. she speaks a mile a minute and she is not thorough. She is rude and condescending and thinks her crap doesn't smell. My surgery was done in less than 7 minutes according to the operative report which was not sufficient enough time to check for endometriosis. She offered me no solutions to my recurring issues. She also has a terrible bedside manner. Never again will I see her.

Office staff is wonderful, and I always can get an appt to fit my schedule. Dr Plunknett is one of the best!!

After hearing of a death in my immediate family at 7:00 PM I could not call plucknecks at that time to cancel an appointment I had the next day so I called early the next morning to cancel. Pluckneck still charged me a $30.00 cancellation fee and threatened to turn me in to a collection agency. She is heartless has no conscience and is pathetic. She does not care about you only about your money. STAY AWAY. She only has one star for a reason. She does not care and should be barred. THE WORST.

Dr Plucknett, Shuker, and Bonafede are amazing Doctors and CRNP. Ive been with this practice for 3 years and will continue, I recommend this office to family and friends. They are always there when you need them. They have found and treated issues that doctors in the past have not found.

Very unhappy w/ the unprofessional behavior of this entire office. I was told to get cleared by my pcp & get bloodwork for a surgery on Oct 13th. I take time off work to get bloodwork done, it's not done, they can't "interrupt" the Dr now she's with patients. I've been at this lab now for over an hour and the tell me to bad they don't care it's not going to get done until later. LATER! I took time off work and don't have more time, well we will get back to you. That was at 8:35am it's 5:45 no cb

her office staff are rude, they (or the doctor) dont return phone calls; the doctor herself acts very uninterested in your issues, and her PA gives the roughest female exams I have ever had. very very disappointed.

I received two rescheduling fees of $50 before I even got in the door!! Needless to say, I never made it to the office! Very poor business management!! Rude staff!
