Terrible bedside manner. Did not take the time to explain things. I was told I should have a hysterectomy to take care of my 4 fibroids and was also told they would interfere with pregnancy. I was given no other options. I left there crying. Two years later, went to a new OBGYN in a different practice, was told only 1 fibroid and that it would not interfere with pregnancy and no other fibroids were there. Happy I didn't go through with the hysterectomy! Oh, was also informed by my new OBGYN that I can get pregnant!

I had a horrendous experience with Dr. Soares. Back in 2010, I had severe abdominal pain and positive pap for cancer cells, followed by an ultrasound. Dr Soares (first time seeing her) said that she believed I had a “fibroid tumor”. She attempted twice to obtain a uterine biopsy, but failed. Unsble to obtain the biopsy, she recommended a TWO MONTH follow up! Appalled by her blatant ignorance and lack of compassion, I went immediately to my primary, had a CT and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer

Best Gyn Dr EVER compassionate caring and attentive to my health needs great bedside manner. hormone therapy counseling and very proactive in guiding me to the right hormone therapy that is best for me, very individualized to my personal needs, she really cares about her patients.

I scheduled my first gynecological visit with Dr. Soares and within an hour of leaving her office I was searching for a new doctor. The office was overall unfriendly and caused me to feel confused and rushed. The check-in was difficult to find and the staff gave me no instructions. Dr. Soares spoke to me in a harsh tone and I felt as though she did not want to hear my questions. She actually told me to look up answers to my questions online! I was not comfortable and I will not be returning.

I am new to the area and had to rely on reviews to select a Doctor. I was incredibly upset with my visit. Dr. Soares was gruff and short with me. I went in for a routine physical and was unable to discuss any of my concerns with her due to her lack of bed-side manner. It's a very personal visit and I do not expect much, however a bit of sensitivity is important. Rather than inquiring about my concerns she argued with every bit of info I gave her. I will never return and do not recommend her.
