Dr. Barry Bickley, MD

Dr. Bickley spent quite a bit of time with me and definitely appreciated all of my concerns. He does not push surgery as many orthopedics do. I have a rare condition about which Dr. Bickley is quite knowledgeable. The one negative review I saw perplexes me. I have had over 15 orthopedic surgeries and Dr. Bickley is one of the kindest, most compassionate and patient doctors I have encountered.

Dr Bickley is so patient, has so much empathy and knows that TKR is not something you rush into. Its a commitment to wellness. I am contemplating this surgery , I need some courage and what I need also is the demeanor of Dr Bickley. Very assuring and compassionate doctor who seems to have great knowledge and skills for such a surgery. Almost there in my decision, I am a planner , so will get there . Thank you Dr Bickley for your great bedside manner and all the time you allowed for my first consult.

Dr. Bickley is amazing! I had total hip replacements of both hips within a couple of months of each other and I was up and walking without any assistance within the first week. He is kind, actually listened to my situation and was straight forward about what needed to be done. I have recommended him to many of my friends! Thank you Dr. Bickley! You are the best!

I am 75 years old and had to have total hip replacement, and was referred to Dr. Bickley by my primary physician. It was the first surgery I have ever had. I was extremely anxious and Dr. Bickley understood this and was very reassuring about the positive outcome of my surgery. Dr. Bickley is kind, patient and most of all he cares about his patients. Dr. Bickley was a joy to deal with from my very first visit. He was sympathetic to my pain and current condition. He recommended replacement surgery for my hip and reviewed with me the approach, healing expectations, timelines, etc. He was excited to help me, was confident surgery would provide me relief. Leading up to surgery Dr. Bickley was very receptive to my questions never had an issue with my questions and at times impressed with my questions. Day of surgery he knew I was scared, he made me feel at ease. Surgery was smooth, minimal pain after and my prior back and hip pain gone. Post surgery follow ups where great as expected and his staff was also top notch. I was at the point I looked forward to my appointments as I have enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Bickley. Dr. Bickley took good care of me . The operation was successful and when I fell right on my new hip Two weeks after surgery the office scheduled me immediately. Dr. Bickley listened carefully and was always pleasant. Easy to talk to. Note: he is trained in the newer anterior method of hip replacement and the recovery is very easy.

My surgery went very well first three weeks were hard but after that, having two weeks of pt and visits from visiting nurses help me to get back to my life, then pt at Gemini pt, for 6 weeks where they got me to the point of being able to go on with my life doing housework and mowing my lawn

My fiance had surgery immediatelly following day from reporting to the er to find out having a broken tibia, ankle, and torn ligament. Upon arriving at office they were expecting us , tonimarie helping me get him registered, nate and taisha did everything to help us in office, as it was very difficult with his weight. Had full replacement knee surgery by Dr Bickley. I Have recommended him to everyone I know who is having knee surgery.

Dr. Bickley performed shoulder surgery to remove calcification and bone spurs. He is a skilled surgeon who really cares about his patients. I have full range of motion and am able to use my arm which I was not able to do prior to surgery. He also has a wonderful staff, especially Toni.

Dr. Bickley is awesome! He led me easily every step of the way pre and post arthroscopic surgery. I had a very easy recover, and I'm 62! If I ever need care for anything orthopedic related in the future, I hope Dr. Bickley is available. I recommend him 100%

I saw Dr. Bickley because of right shoulder pain. I had had rotator cuff surgery for my left shoulder some years earlier. After unsuccessful PT, cortisone shot and a confirming MRI, Dr. Bickley suggested surgery. The operation was flawless, but the recovery was, admittedly, painful. I followed his instructions about daily mobility exercises religiously! After 6 months of PT, and at-home exercise, my shoulder is 100%. I have returned to my active lifestyle pain-free. Dr. Bickley is a highly professional and skilled surgeon, a good listener and has a friendly demeanor with patients. He replaced my right hip two years ago and will very shortly replace my left hip. My recovery from my previous surgery was very rapid with little pain. Everything about Dr. Bickley's practice is efficient and friendly and I am looking forward to having him replace the remaining arthritic hip. He's the best and I recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Bickley is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He recently repaired a torn miniscus for me with great results. When you hear operating room nurses raving about a surgeon, you know you're in good hands and I have been. I'm very pleased with the care I received and very happy to recommend Dr. Bickley.

Worked with me on my job situation because I had both hips done in a matter of 11 weeks. I had to go back after 6 weeks with first hip (reason 12 weeks total w/family leave act), worked for 5 weeks when then did second hip. Definitely listened to me about rehab and how much I needed and felt very successful including that in conjunction. I was back to work 6 weeks after 2nd hip, I had great outcome and feel like I have my life back.

Dr. Bickley recently performed surgery on my knee and did an outstanding job! About a year ago, he treated my other knee and did an excellent job then! He is very nice, knowledgeable and very professional! I consider him a top notch surgeon who really cares about his patients! !!
