My Visit
In this world where all you read about is criticism regarding the medical field, you cannot possibly find anyone better than Dr. Rosen. He is knowledgeable, kind, and reassuring and it is easy to recognize you are in good hands with him. Additionally, his office staff is so pleasant and helpful. It is important that I also say something about Preena--his PA. She is absolutely the best! I worked in the medical field for 25 years and I feel confident in saying she ranks as the top PA. She is so compassionate, so empathetic, so caring. She answered every question of the many that I had and her gentle interactions with me completely relieved my anxiety. I am so thankful I met with her today.

A gifted man & doctor
My OB/GYN directed me to see Dr Rosen as DCIS was suspected. He went OUT OF HIS WAY to see me before office hours just so I could get in quickly. My visit was on a Friday & the following Tuesday I was in surgery. He is compassionate, interested, has excellent people skills, listens intently, explains completely, and makes himself readily available by giving you his cell number. At a time when one suffers fear & confusion, he offers confidence & calm. I HIGHLY recommend you trust this gifted man with your health issues.

Highly recommended
I learned about Dr. Rosen from my primary and I couldn’t be happier. He is very straightforward and has excellent bedside manner. When a mammogram and ultrasound found a small tumor in my breast, he called me himself to set up the appointment. He explained everything very clearly and in layman’s terms and even gave me his cell number! Within a month, I was scheduled for a lumpectomy. Surgery was 10 days ago and he called me yesterday to say margins around the tumor were clear and lymph nodes showed no signs of spread. Woo hoo! Just need to follow up with targeted radiation in the form of a pill. Dr. Rosen will not disappoint you. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Rosen is truly the best!
Dr. Rosen is the most kind, caring, positive, upbeat, knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever seen. I feel so blessed to have him as my doctor. He takes the time to answer your questions, his communication skills are exceptional. He is incredibly approachable and responsive, he encourages his patients to contact him for any questions anytime, and provides his cell phone number, he answered all my questions promptly. After having had my surgery a few weeks ago, I believe that his surgical skills are second to none. The discomfort after the surgery was minimal so I didn’t even need to take any pain killers, and incision was strategically placed at areas that are almost invisible, I am very pleased with my surgery. Dr. Rosen is truly the best. He cares for his patients very much and always goes the extra mile for them! I feel very lucky to have Dr. Rosen on my side. Thank you Dr. Rosen!

Dr. Rosen is outstanding! He is like no other doctor I've seen - he entered the exam room with an enthusiastic smile (!!), addressed my health concerns immediately, reducing my anxiety. He is very knowledgeable, and speaks in every-day language. His personality is vibrant, and it's clear he is very passionate about helping his patients and their families. I felt educated and heard by him. He even praised other physicians I've worked with. I highly recommend working with him.

Selecting a surgeon at your time of need can be very stressful. For that reason, I want to share my personal experience with Dr. Barry Rosen and his team of highly professional employees. I was diagnosed with DCIS on July 26 at 11:30am. That evening at 7pm, from his home, I received a call from Dr. Rosen who immediately provided a course of action, appointment options and his personal contact information in the event I had any additional questions. Much to my surprise, because it isn’t the norm, he was quick to respond to both my calls and emails. At our initial meeting, he took the time necessary to detail the surgery including diagrams, explained the role of supporting physicians and provided me with a comprehensive “to do list” in order to keep things moving. Dr. Rosen’s patience, compassion, and many assurances gave me the confidence I needed to believe in a favorable outcome. Hopefully, I will no longer require surgical services but if I do, Dr. Rosen will be my first call.

Dr Rosen was my surgeon for a recent lumpectomy. He is excellent! He explains the procedure, risks, and likely outcome in a very easy to understand manner. He is very reassuring and easy to work with. He follows up with personal phone calls and is very accessible for any question or concern. I would highly recommend him to any friend or family member in need of his service. I give him the highest rating possible!

Dr. Rosen was extremely kind and took the time to explain everything during my visit. I was a new patient and he made me feel like I have been a patient for years. I would HIGHLY recommend him to friends and family. A smile and great attitude goes a long when seeing a doctor for something that could potentially be concerning.

Dr. Rosen is wonderful! My first appointment, he spent an hour with my husband and me explaining everything regarding the cancer, surgery, and treatment. He is so personable, and kept me relaxed and assured that all would be good. My surgery went extremely well. My scar is basically hidden. The oncologist even made a remark at how good it is. Dr. Rosen is always available to answer questions. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to call or text anytime I needed. When I was waiting for my biopsy report, I texted him. He called me back within a minute! I feel so blessed that I was sent to Dr. Rosen. Absolutely the best!!

Dr. Rosen is THE BEST, MOST IMPRESSIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, TALENTED SURGEON AND PERSON. He called me as soon as I was diagnosed! Dr. Rosen took an hour and a half to explain, educate my husband and me about my diagnosis and offer hope and confidence at the exact right time and always. I’m so happy that fate (due to Covid overscheduling at my regular breast care center) brought me to him. I would travel from out of state to have the honor of being treated by Dr. Rosen! Thank Goodness I don’t have to. THE GREATEST!

This was my 1st to Dr. Rosen. I found him to be informative, friendly and answered any question I had about my condition. It was a spot in my right breast so he gave me options as to the surgery. The surgery was scheduled very quickly but I decided it was moving to fast so I rescheduled it.

Beginning with my 1st appointment, Dr. Rosen took the time to thoroughly discuss my cancer. He was technical while making sure that I understood the detail. He captained a team of skilled professionals: radiologist, oncologist, physical therapist, nurse navigator, and assistant) who mirrored his style of communication coupled with knowledge, compassion, understanding and experience. When I was worried, Dr. Rosen sensed my need, knew how to expedite results, and called from his cell to provide immediate results. I am thankful for the skill and professionalism of Dr. Rosen and his team. He has truly been a blessing and I highly recommend him. Anne

Dr Rosen and staff were terrific in guiding me through an early detected breast cancer surgery including interoperative radiation and restoration in a single day. I am honored to write this note of referral. Dr. Rosen has re-set the bar for me in terms of health care. He is my favorite doctor hands down. He does amazing work and is the more caring, personable doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Dr. Rosen also surrounds himself with other great health care professionals and partners with the best so no matter what your journey is, you are in the best of care. I have never had a doctors that is so communicative and available to his patients at any time of day. This level of care has changed my expectation moving forward when I look for other health care providers. I have recommend him to some of my close friends and would recommend him to anyone looking for amazing care.
