Dr. Simon has been a lifesaver for our family. He’s empathetic, responsive, a good listener, and he explains and understands the psychopharmacology so well. He’s reassured me that I’m the expert on my child and always gives me a variety of options to consider. We are so happy with our care.

Thank you
I saw Dr. Simon over 20 years ago when I was in my teens. He was the first person that listened to me, made me feel heard, and helped to normalize what I was going through. I went from despondency to a completely different person. I can proudly say that because of him, I became a psychiatrist, lecture at universities, and am a passionate advocate for mental health. Today, I told my patient exactly what he told me 20 years ago and I watched the impact of those same words on me when I looked at her. Thank you for changing the trajectory of my life. I am so grateful for the care and guidance you gave me.

We have been with Dr. Barry Simon for about 3 years. Being a former ICU nurse, I can attest: I have never experienced a more knowledgeable, empathetic provider. He is extremely responsive without exception. Every time consulted via MY CHART, or through office, I have received a personal phone call back from Dr. Simon within 2 hrs! This is when I indicate " non- urgent" request. I suspect he lives full time in his office! I have had multiple experiences with a variety of psychiatrists for issues with my child and he is hands down the best.

Seems to have no idea what he’s doing. He googles drugs during the session and ended up prescribing meds that have adverse reactions with each other. He doesn’t seem to care about his patient’s concerns either. Disappointing

Dr. Simon is great to work with. He returns calls promptly whenever we have a concern or question about our non-verbal Autistic son. He also, doesn't over perscribe meds and conciders the effects of his meds on his psyche... but also the possible effects of the meds on his other health issues. He truely helps the whole family.

I took my son to see Dr. Simon. He has experienced depression for about a year. In speaking with us, his overall assessment was that my son needed to just get to the things causing him anxiety and all would be great. His comment to us was "I have kids coming in here who can't physically go to school. You just need to stop procrastinating and get your work done. If you want, I can put you on some medication, but you're describing mild symptoms of depression." Left there feeling horrible.
