Doctor Wood explained every aspect of his plan to correct my issues. He also explained the risks and what the next step would be if he was unable to reach the area that needed correcting. I am very pleased with the outcome. Doctor Wood was able to do a remarkable job on me. I would recommend him to anyone. In fact, my own husband will be having hernia repair surgery next week.

Dr wood is great. He 1st did a gall bladder removal then after my prostrate radiation treatments did a hernia repair. Staff was great also. Very informative and very easy to talk with

Dr. Wood did a fantastic job on my robotic hernia repair! The pain was minimal and I was almost completely recovered in a week. He was very patient to answer all my questions. When I asked his staff to wear a mask during my visit, they asked me if they were talking to me when they had it off, rather than apologizing for putting others in danger. Dr. Wood told me if I didn’t approve of his policies, I could find another surgeon. Very unsafe and unprofessional. Photos of all are included in my y and g reviews as well as more details.

Dr. Wood did a colon resection on me in November 2018. Dr. Wood was excellent, kind, compassionate and my surgery was a total success with no complications. The same week I had my surgery, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable stomach cancer and Dr. Wood also helped me to understand my husbands situation that was the most compassionate thing he could have done. I will never forget how blessed I was to have this man be my physician. Highly recommended !!

He is a wonderful doctor/surgeon. I have had nothing but great experiences dealing with him with my past 2 surgeries. I would & have recommended to others. If I ever had to have another general surgery done, he will most definitely be the surgeon I go to. He is very friendly & treats you as a person not just as another number (as in how many patients he sees). He is a very genuine person.

In 2014 Dr. Wood performed my robotic gall bladder removal surgery, making one small incision in my belly button. The actual surgery only took about 45 minutes & everything went perfectly. I was able to go home the same day & I healed up quickly. He is a very kind, friendly, outgoing doctor who listens & explains things extremely well. He puts you at ease, & prior to my surgery I was calm & had absolutely no reservations. I highly recommend Dr. Woods and would want him for any future surgeries.
