Dr. Basant Farghaly, MD

First, she gave my father powerful medicine without any blood test or urine test, so my father was not feeling good.The staff had bad communication and follow-up, only asking for additional payments if you say no they will ask you not to come to the office. Purely for money only money.

Dr. Farghaly has great bedside manner and very knowledgeable. She is my PCM and I am a veteran with tricare select. There are mixed reviews about her staff, but I find texting their office leads to better communication with quick responses. Never rude to me.

Dr. Farghaly and her staff are very kind and welcoming. Her office has a great atmosphere and everyone is very helpful.

I have already recommended Dr. Farghaly to my family and to friends. She is an excellent doctor. She listens. She works with you. She is very educated on the latest information on health, diet, exercise, prevention and treatments. We are very happy we found her.

The staff is very nice but also not responsive. It's very hard to get someone to answer the phone or call you back. Once you get an appointment plan on waiting 1 hour plus to see Dr. Farghaly. I have been seeing Dr. Farghaly for about 6 months and have had about 8 appointments, it is never better. I like Dr. Farghaly and think she is a good doctor. But can't afford to be away from work so long.

Well... Where do I begin? With the office staff never answering the phone? With the telephone messages left never being returned by the her staff? Having to drive to their office to get an appointment scheduled? Arriving at their office, finding out they do not accept Medicaid (in a yr) and have not updated their status with Medicaid? Medicaid assigned Dr. Farghaly as my daughters primary Dr, we have not met her, and due to the incompetence of the office staff she employs, I do not care to!

I have made multiple attempts to get an appointment with no success. They never answer the phone. You leave a voice mail and they never call you back. I moved on and found another doctor. Unfortunate, because Dr. Farghaly is wonderful when you are able to get in to see her - but her office staff is horrible.

I would not go back. I may contact the AMA since her office worker neglected to get me the information the doctor requested for the tests I need. Its now a month later and I have called her office 4 times with no reply from the doctor. I suspect the office worker is hiding my calls as she knows this is negligence. And if not shame on the doctor for being non-responsive. Now I need to find another doctor with honest staff members.
