Saved my life
I had a major apaletic shock to the dye in a cat scan. Died twice on the table in ICU, both times I was intubated and in a drug-induced coma for 2 weeks, each time. All body functions stopped. Dr Ali got me on kidney dialysis for a month. I had severe rampant sepsis and a large grapefruit-size tumor in my abdomen. Hospital team wanted to operate and remove, but all agreed I would have not survived another operation. They conseled my husband to pull the plug and I would pass in my sleep in 12 hours. Dr Ali said give him 24 hours to try an experimental procedure at St Luke's Columbia Univ Nys. He had them FedEx a very large needle. He got 8t the next morning and was able to aspirate the benign tumor completely. My oxygen levels came back , he saved my life. Within 2 months there and 4 months at Brothers of Mercy Rehab in Clarence NY. They told me I would never walk again. At the end of my stay I walked out with a cane to my husband's car. I am better now 8 years later, living a full life
