Dr. Bassam Estfan, MD

He was not proactive when his own radiologist report of scans he ordered stated enlarged lymph node was SUSPICIOUS for metastic desease. A red flag anyone should react to. Not this poor physician. The ignorance on display with this inaction meant I went from no cancer detectable to stage 4 metastic liver cancer 3 months after his horrific decision to ignore my care. This caused my doctor who was scheduled to surgically treat me to call the day before surgery regretfully having to cancel as my condition was too far advanced for surgery to address. HE apologized sincerely, I messaged Dr estfan the day the report of suspicious lymph node enlargement was released and he never even bothered to respond. Consistent with a poor work ethic, a year later he has not even been humane enough to say he is sorry for his lack of care. Great doctor? Not in my opinion!

Dr.Estfan, has been my oncologist for years now. He is very caring, he listens to my mother and Ito help guide us through this difficult situation. He is extremely professional and always gets a plan together to assist me with everything I need to get well. I highly recommend him and his team because they know what they are doing! Always a step a head. For that and everything I appreciate him so much! Thank you

Dr Estfan is excellent. I am ned as a result of being under his care. Dr. Estfan takes his time with me and reviews. He uses my Cat Scan and visually explains. I am very satified with Dr Estfan.

Dr. Estfan appears to be technically capable, but is difficult to establish a relationship with. As long as the discussion is technical, he is clear. His recommendations for continuing care, if any, are not clearly communicated and he leaves an impression of indifference regarding what you choose.

Excellent care, thorough review of my records. Significant improvement once I switched to his care. Very surprised to see the negative reviews here. My experience was wonderful. I highly recommend Dr Estfan.

No science, all bureaucracy and insurence red tape. No empathy, untrustworthy, virtually no logical discussion, seems to be in rush for next patient, does not review medical diganostics and pathological data, and even wrongly assumed the type of cancer.

Extremely indifferent about patient's condition - under his treatment his own prognosis is going down fast almost every months - 2 years to 2 months to 2 weeks - and he is watching and virtually doing nothing!!!

Extremely knowledgable & patient focused. Excellent bedside manner. Simply the best!
