Best doctor ever
I had surgery at UConn almost 20 years ago. Dr Tendler conducted my follow up care after surgery for many years. When I moved to Florida I respected her care so much that I continued to schedule my appointments with her when I could travel to Connecticut. I attribute my carcinoid free success to this highly respected doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Tendler for follicular Insular carcinoma with multiple vascular invasion of the thyroid, since 2008. I'm in remission largely in part to the expertise that Dr. Tendler exhibits. I have nothing but lauditory comments for Dr. Tendler, pertaining to the unparalleled knowledge she has concerning the endocrine system, and the assiduous work ethic she displays when meeting the needs of patients. The hurry up concept of getting patients in and out quickly is not in her vocabulary

Dr Tendler is The Most Caring, Compassionate, Dedicated and Knowledgeable person, whom I have ever been blessed to encounter... And whenever I ever need her medical expertise for guidance, Dr Tendler is ALWAYS Available!! The Most Dedicated ... she took time to meet my family member and wrote notes On how we are related, (my daughter) her experience working in human services, her 2sons (incl their names & ages) all to better understand my Life outside of that exam room! A True Gem !

I was referred to Dr. Tendler by another physician after losing confidence in an Endocrenologist who was treating my very rare condition. Regrettably, the other Doc was more academically fascinated, than clinically attentive to the many complicated factors affecting my overall health. Dr. Tendler has combined academic, interdisciplinary, sound medical practice, and supra-compassionate care. I trust her, despite the fact that a medical resolution has been established YET! I wait in HOPE!

Dr. Tendler is an incredibly talented and dedicated specialist that works endlessly to help patients. She patiently listened to me describe my condition and then answered each question completely and with the detail that is easily understandable, then developed tests to resolve the problem. She leaves no stone unturned in diagnosing the issue and then always calls the patient back with results and the next step. She does this in a most caring manner. That's why she has earned so much respect
