Horrible doctor
Dr. Behrooz Saffari I went to this clinic last year complaining of chronic knee pain when sitting on or bending my knee and the only thing this "doctor" said to me is "stop sitting on your knee" instead of sending me to get my knee checked! Good job doc, I hope it felt good to give me that smart comment because it stopped me from seeking further care for a year!!! How about you try and get some better bedside manner? Here I am a year later still with my knee pain but with a good doctor who had the sense to get me an x-ray and send me to physical therapy. The tendon in my knee is damaged and my knee swollen. Something I would have known sooner had this doctor been a better person. It it obvious from many of the comments here that this doctor does not care about his patients. He only cares about making people feel small.

My husband has repeatedly asked Dr. Saffari to test his homocysteine level. The dr. said this is medically unnecessary, which shows his ignorance. He said even if my husband found out the number, he could do nothing about it, again an ignorant statement. Homocysteine is a marker for heart disease and a high level of it can be lowered with diet and B vitamins. How does the dr. not know this? My husband argued with him for 15" to get this test added to his blood work, but the dr. refused, clearly forgetting that he works for the patient. What kind of dr. wouldn't want his patient to be empowered with a knowledge of his numbers so he can know where he stands? Obviously, an ignorant and arrogant one who thinks he knows everything -- when clearly he knows nothing regarding this important amino acid. I told my husband to find another dr. -- one who understands the importance of patients taking ownership for their own health.

Dr. Saffari used the wrong order code on a routine medical test order which cost me over $500 and his office did not help in correcting it after multiple calls over three months!
