Terrible “doctor”
She was smug and didn’t listen to a word I said, she already knew everything. Very condescending attitude and did nothing to address my issues. If you’re looking for the worst doctor in the Chicagoland area, choose her.

Terrible experience
Dr was aloof and started her conversation (we need to address your immense weight gain) When I queried this and got on the scale a second time, she discovered the MA had reversed the second 2 numbers. No apology. She has zero bedside manner. I saw her once to establish care after Dr Lee left Advocate-once was enough- I moved to NCH

Visit to Doctor office
I had been to Dr. Desai’s office today since I didn’t get an appointment with my primary doctor. I am glad she is not my primary doctor. I waited and hour and a half to see her. The visit was very disappointing.I went with a cough. Made this appointment 2 weeks ago. She did not even come close to me to check my heart or lungs. She told me lungs were clear. I don’t know what magic she has to know that without checking. I had few questions and requests about my diabetes and needed strips for the machine and she refused to prescribe that. I wouldn’t recommend her to treat any human being on earth. She was very disrespectful and rude. I hope Advocate health care will take note of this experience and do the needful.

She is one of the worst doctors in the world. I went to her on Friday with my parent. She has no bedside manners and patient care. I want to give her 0 stars if I could. She has awful behavior and does things like she is the only doctor in Illinois. All she want to do is bill the insurance as many times as she can. My parent are diabetic and have high blood pressure. They need medicine. We went on Friday and his medicine ended that day. We called over and over for 5 days but the doctor would not prescribe a medicine until the patient came to the office again. She also did not prescribe any medicine for a real bad cough for my parent. She wants us to come again to the office with my parent then she will decide what medicine she will give but I do not want to go that doctor again on my life!!! She is so dumb she doesn’t know how to make patient survive with medicine. I RECOMMEND not to pick this doctor. She is FULL of herself.

Terrible. If you care about yourself or family member, do not go to this doctor. You will not be allowed to be in the room with your family member or vice versa even if they ask you to be and give consent. I went with one of my parents today to listen and talk with her too and he was on board with it but they still wouldn't’ let me in. I really wanted to go see what was going on after hearing what the Dr says to my dad and how often she makes her patients return for another appointment like every other month. That seemed odd to me. My dad has also expressed other concerns and confusion about this doctor and her office staff that has made me curious as to what is being said and going on over there. Well after my first experience today, I am not at all impressed. It seems a little shady, and they don’t respect the patient’s requests and don’t respects the rights of their patients. Do not waste your time seeing Dr.Desai

Dr is very nice and personable but the office is very unorganized. Wait time is usually an hour. Very small waiting room for about 7 people. Very difficult to get through to a nurse (f there is one on staff at the time or not...), billing person (he was very rude ) or a regular front desk employee (who usually is clueless and rude) because there is constantly a turnover. They ONLY take CASH for the copay. They do not allow a family member to accompany the patient either, so good luck if your loved one has dementia, memory problems or going through something serious where they need and would actually benefit having an extra set of ears or someone to ask questions on their behalf.

I wish I had read other reviews before I took my parent there! Very unprofessional-my parent asked for me to be in the room 4 times (with all POA in place and signed) and she refused to be in the room! Did not want to discuss health with me-my parent ask to be discussed, poor bedside manners! She did not even read the patient history and wanted to comeback again for flu shots so she can charge again! I am filing a complaint with AMA and insurance company! STAY AWAY

Horrible!! Horrible staff and doctor....make up their own rules like family members not allowed to support the pt - oh but it's ok to harass family members for payment!, can't pay with credit card- has to be cash, charges double, takes no responsibility, leaves pt hanging with no clear instructions, and worst of all - sends pt away without seeing because their staff can't work things out with insurance! Whatever happened to that MD oath of never turning any pt down! NEVER AGAIN!

I went to her, as a referral, by a doctor in the ER at Alexian Brothers on Biesterfield Rd. This lady is a complete quack. On my second visit her front office staff nearly had a physical altercation, using unneccessary profanity with each other in front of patients. Then, she was about to draw blood with bare hands and without washing her hands first. I stopped her by walking out and never returning. I wish I could choose no stars at all, that's how bad this entire office is in my opinion

Dr and staff are very rude, if you are in the hospital does not visit you but are called un-necessarily to the office every few weeks so insurance can be billed. Many times insurance is billed even if the appoint was cancelled 3-4 days in advance. Many times says blood test report has not been received, even though I have confirmed of send with the provider, with electronic records information she should be able to see online..schedules another appointment. Stay AWAY!!!!!

Horrible. This Dr. is rude, unprofessional, greedy, and dumb. She wants to charge my parents full amount of the visiting fee despite insurance and tells us she will refund the fee once she gets paid by the insurance company. Who does that? I had my insurance company speak to them on another line to tell the Dr. that she is NOT supposed to do that but her assistant (who is worst than a high school graduate) didn't understand a bit of that.
