I will never be able to thank this man enough for how much he helped me with my endometriosis and fibroids! I had 2 surgeries prior to seeing him that didn’t even remotely help me and by the time I switched doctors, AGAIN, and saw him, I was just ready for a hysterectomy to get rid of the gut wrenching pain that not even morphine could touch anymore. He not only saved me from that but he quite literally got rid of my pain, endometriosis & fibroids. I don’t care where I live at in the country, I will fly to this doctor for continued care because he is worth every penny and every tear I shed. You will not regret having this gem as a doctor, trust me, I’ve seen A LOT in multiple states.

Excellent! He and his team are always so nice and friendly! He was very thorough in investigating my painful bladder condition and was able to diagnose me. He’s going to get to the bottom of your issues for sure…I highly recommend!

Dr Abdu was the first provider to acknowledge my pain, apologize for the pain, and for all other providers who have dismissed me. Age/ 34- 1 kiddo (5) last 6 months have had bleeding every other week & severely anemic. Quick ultrasound was done IN OFFICE. (No other provider did one) saw some irregularities- walked through symptoms (we were done having kids, terrible cramps, fibroids, severe anemia and I was ready for a hysterectomy). He walked me through pros and cons and risks and benefits and I was quickly scheduled. Day of surgery came and he was great with my spouse and called Me the next day to walk through what he saw. He was straight forward at how bad everything was and how he had no idea how I was functioning. Surgery went well. Had a ration to dermabond. He listened to my pain and concerns and went above and beyond. As a woman I would highly recommend him to anyone else. Yes the wait time can be high at west cancer but I’m okay with that because he’s amazing and others are facing other battles. So thank you Dr Abdu for giving Me my life back

Things Abdul does well: 1. Good at finding underlining illnesses 2. Will take your pain seriously 3. Will look at all through documentation you give him and will follow up by phone. (Very rare) Things not done well: 1. Bed side manner is rude 2. Lack of empathy for pain (it's like he has never been in pain before, lucky man) 3. Bad interoffice communication Take what you learn from him and get second opinions.

I’ve been going to Dr. Abdu since 2018 and each time, I’ve had a positive experience. Since I started going to him for endometrial hyperplasia, he ensured that I had the right medication and I haven’t had that issue since. Other doctors I had been to ran very little tests, stuck me on a bc pill with estrogen in it, which only made my ailment worse. I like the fact that he does not body shame or bring up age as a factor as it relates to getting pregnant. He just delivers realistic hope in the most gentle way. As a black woman, I know that I can trust him to listen, be thorough and take good care of me. He’s an excellent doctor.

I’ve never seen a medical professional with better bedside manner than Dr Abdu. He’s so kind and listens attentively. He believed my chronic pelvic pain was real and it only took two visits for him to schedule a surgery to fix it. I didn’t actually have endometriosis like I assumed, but Dr Abdu was able to treat my disease. I now have painless menstrual cycles and understand my pelvic pain triggers and can control them. He’s since moved offices, but his former office had very thin walls, and I could overhear him treating other patients with respect and patience as well.

As others already said here, the man is rude, rushes appointments, and does NOT listen. I genuinely feel he is either a mis0gynist or queerphobic based on my experience. The tone and irritation in his voice said it all. He told me no insurance would ever cover a hysterectomy for me (a NB person with severe chronic pelvic pain worsened by a genetic condition) and that my insides would be basically ruined by that procedure because it’s just such a medical leap to want that (9 years of chronic pelvic pain, I’m never having kids, already had 1 surgery for this). The staff and himself were not trauma informed at all- I was not informed what was happening and when during the pelvic exam.

I had went to Dr.Abdu After being diagnosed w “ slight “ endometriosis by another dr. Who wouldn’t operate and said there was nothing he could do , Dr.Abdu went in and got multiple places of where the endometriosis was ! I’ve fallen in love with him and his amazing staff !!! Since the first appointment I had with him he’s been very informative, he listens , and he cares about his patients . I couldn’t be more grateful that I was recommended to him by a fellow friend who had endometriosis as well . 5 out 5 rating and I’ll ONLY go to him from now on .

I was told by Dr Abdu that I didn’t have endometriosis according to my symptoms, ultrasound, and pelvic exam. Saw an endometriosis specialist in Atlanta, and was diagnosised after an extremely thorough vaginal and rectal exam in addition to an ultrasound.I am highly disappointed.

Unprofessional, rude, poor bedside manner. Spent months under his care, never could figure out the issue but kept sending me out for more testing. Went for second opinion somewhere else and they figured it out within a month. Suffered for months no reason, mostly because this man refused to listen to me.

I've had the pleasure of working beside and now being a patient. Words do not even begin to explain the difference Dr Abdu has made in my life. Just by his compassion and understanding my circumstances surpasses all other physicians I have ever seen...and I've seen a lot. If you need someone who will sit down, explain everything, answers yours and your families questions all while acting like you are the only patient in the office, then he's for you!
