For this yearly visit, I felt that the provider down-played the concerns that I expressed. I felt that he was more interested in the resident he had with him. I do not feel that this provider is interested in me as a unique individual.

I was charged well over $1000 more than my partner under the same insurance, having met same deductible requirements, receiving the same procedure, at the same time, at the same facility, but by a different doctor. Despite several calls (voicemail as nobody answers the phone) and even a certified letter, I was never even given the courtesy of return call let alone an explanation. Maybe the cost difference was justified, but I don't know. I received no response-NOTHING. I eventually paid it or I was going to be sent to collection- no problem communicating that! He may or may not be competent, but in my experience just concerned with billing and throughput and not true patient relationship/care. Will never use again.

I came to Dr. Kieff in really rough shape. I had a prior GI dr that kept throwing steroids at me and refused to believe my c diff was recurring. I had a hard time even walking into the office. Dr. Kieff didn't step on my previous doctor's toes, but I assured him that I didn't want just a second opinion,I wanted to find a new dr. Dr. Kieff had me come back in 2 days for a colonoscopy because he said I couldn't wait a week and he was going on vacation. The week Dr. Kieff was on vacation, he and his nurse called me to check up and get new meds rolling. Everytime I see Dr. Kieff now, 8+ years later, he always comments on how bad my Crohns was. For a doctor with so many patients, him remembering and caring for my life and well being for this long,shows what kind of great doctor he is.

Dr. Kieff has done a few procedures on my husband and now on my 86 year old mom.. HE WAS AWESOME!!! He took such good care of my mom and listened and never acted like she was taking too much time! THANK YOU

Sent us to Henry Ford Clinic attached to his office on Lake Dr. So unfit for diagnosis. His ego is bigger than the universe. Went to UofM #1 hospital in Michigan for proper diagnosis. Kieff's bedside manner is aweful, so is staff.

If you care for your Loved one move on , likes repeat business and will keep you under his care as long as possible ! Michael

Dr. Kieff has always responded to questions for me as his patient and for my husband in a very prompt manner. Feel completely comfortable relating to Dr. Kieff and his office staff as well.

Dr. Kieff and his staff were fantastic. They all were very calming and fun to be around, which helped a ton with nerves! I would recommend Dr. Kieff to anyone who needs gastro procedures done, especially if one tends to be more anxious about doctors appointments in general. Great guy!
