Oh, the unbearable waiting room
Every time I see Dr. Marranzini, it takes over 2 hours to complete the appointment. The interminable wait in the main waiting room is surpassed only by the surprisingly long wait time in the exam room. Does the staff triple-book him? If so, the office management needs to be radically changed. It's like we don't have a life outside of this appointment.Dr. M. seems competent enough, even if not Board Certified. He does take time with you to explain test results & answer questions. He had a copy of the results for me to look at with him, after I complained that I was in the dark during the first visit, where only he had the results.

Worst dr
He is a person who only sees the studies and tells you to continue with his medication, he doesn't let you ask anything and he doesn't take the time for your questions... Worst Dr

long waits and fast treatment.
had a 9:00 a.m. visit and finally got out just before 12:00. This has been the usual for the last couple of years. He comes in and talks to the computer then is out the door so the staff can finish up your paperwork.

Good doctor, terrible phone service
Good doctor but when trying to get refills or other questions I have to go in person because they never answer the phone or disconnect on purpose which is a huge inconvenience to be going over there for something so simple.

Absolutely Terrible Rude and Inefficient Staff!!!
The wait times are awful, the staff is by and larger rude and unhelpful. They invite you to take your complaints and stuff them because waiting up to 4 hours for an appointment is just business as normal for a specialist in their opinion. They also have for at least the past five months had a phone system that will keep you on hold (even up to hours) and then randomly disconnect you - or disconnect you when an employee finally picks up only to say “please hold” before slamming down and ending the call. This happens almost without fail. They left me without critical to life medication for over a month as well just because they randomly had their answering service taking calls during a time they were open - they are even more rude and ineffective than the normal staff and basically told me they absolutely wouldn’t help then left me on hold for over an hour anyway - when I called them on another line to find out why, they threatened me with hold again, as though it was time out.

Great provider with unprofessional staff
I have seen good progress on my health since I started seeing Dr. Marranzzini, he listens for the most part and provides decent ideas for treating. HOWEVER, that office staff is so unprofessional and rude. They never answer the phones and when they do they answer with attitude and they gossip with other staff as they are on the phone with you. It’s almost impossible to get a hold on someone to help with your medication authorizations or refills. I had to call to confirm my appointment as I am out of the state patient just to be told “oh it’s probably gonna be canceled” they provided no understanding or alternatives other than rescheduling a month from the original date. This impacted my paid time off from work and I had to use more work vacation time.

Answering calls and dr visits
Does not matter what time you put your appt its 2- 2 1/2 hrs by the time you get out for an appt. They never answer their phones to make an qppt or to reschedule or to cancel one. I lasted 2 days trying to get them and had to go down from fabens just to reschedule and since you cant get through then you are charged $25 cuz you didnt call to cancel yourcappt. This is the worst office staff

Good physician ruined by his staff
Dr. Marranzini is knowledgeable and is precise in his treatment. He gives good direct care but his office/ clerical staff are non involved. I call for two weeks needing a refill but there is no response other than, “You will get a call back. “. By my standards, the staff is indifferent and patients are seemingly an aggravation to them. Once you leave the exam room with Dr. Marranzini, there is no safety system or effective method of having patient issues addressed. His clerical staff ruin the doctor-patient alliance. The Department of Veteran Affairs sends me to him and I inform them of this ongoing difficulty. Robert Simm El Paso. TX

wait times are 3 hours plus
first time patient .i got there on time . I waited 3 hours and went to the front desk to ask when i will be seen .she said i still have to wait .I asked if this is the normal wait time and the women at the front desk said yes. I told her that i had things to do and that waiting for 3 hours plus is disrespectfull to the patients . she didnt even respond to me .they could care less.

Dr. Marancini is a good Doctor, however, trying to get someone to take your call is impossible!! They close the lines 20 minutes early and forget about actually speaking to an office staff. I get it, I'm not his only patient but come on.....average wait to answer the phone is 30-40 minutes. Totally ridiculous!! Very disappointed....

My nephew has been waiting for 2 weeks now for his medication to be sent in. The manager is very rude and no one seems concerned about the fact that my nephew has just abruptly stopped his hormone treatment because of an error THEIR office made. The medical assistant’s voice mail does not work and the DR does not respond to the messages left on his medical exchange either. I really hope my nephew’s health does not deteriorate due to their negligence.

I am writing an honest non biased review, I have never written any reviews. With that said I hope this helps. I did not have a good experience with any of my visits with Dr.Marranzini. While the front staff is very friendly the waiting times are extremely long( 4 hours ) they do have movies, sometimes they show rated R movies I don't mind but I'm sure some people do. Once I see the doctor I feel very rushed from the start and he sees me for maybe 5 minutes tops which follows by the "follow me please" to set up my next appointment. I feel he does not care about me and quickly dismisses any questions or concerns I have. I've had 3 visits and they all had the same outcome...long wait, rush me out, "follow me please" and take my Co-pay. The good news there is other doctors the bad I wasted time and money with no results. There is good cops and bad cops, good mechanics and bad ones doctors are no different and I strongly feel Dr.Marranzini does not qualify as one of the good ones.
