Dr Ben Assenmacher replaced my knee three years ago back in October2023 I fractured my kneecap went to him and he told me he had never done a procedure like this, but that his brother Craig had and both he and Craig would be in surgery and assured me all would be well. I had the procedure done I feel infection set in right away as they removed my kneecap and threw it away and tried to rebuild my knee up with mesh which quickly became infected they ignored my multiple phone calls pictures & visits and finally after six weeks of ignoring me when my labs were 4 times the normal limit they referred me to Dr Georgiadis who I might add was wonderful he saved my life . I spent a month in the hospital came close to losing my life, and I now walk with a rod in my leg for the rest of my life. Infection is no joke and Dr Craig and Dr Ben both ignored me. They took on way more than they could handle and used me as a guinea pig. They changed my life forever.

Dr. Ben Assenmacher is a very well trained, efficient and personable physician. My experience with him and his office staff was great. Surgery began 1 1/2 hrs before the actual scheduled time. I would highly recommend Dr. Assenmacher. Hopefully I will not need to see him again but if I should need an orthopedic surgeon he would be my first choice.
