Dr. Beecher is amazing! He explains everything and asks if there are any questions or concerns. He didn’t rush, he wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered. He didn’t sugar coat anything. I knew exactly what to expect. My PCP was very impressed with how good my scar looked. I was never made to feel like I was wasting their time. Everyone was very professional. From his amazing triage nurse Linda to his PA Rachel to the receptionists to the lab and X-ray techs. I have shared with everyone what a class act Iowa Orthopedics is. Everyone is truly patient centered. Thank you all for making this so easy for me.

No desire.
Out of 16 surgery's in 59 yrs. This was Worst experience ive ever encountered. This man is very rude and doesn't put the patience best interest first. My employer accepted responsibility and approved work comp. For reasons beyond believe. He disagreed with occupational health. Due to this i have to pay for a surgery that my employer agreed to pay for . Very upsetting when I'm all prepared for surgery and this is when he decides to tell me that he wasn't going to approve work comp . And continued to voice how upset he was that my lawyer requested info. I should have took his advice and got up and left right then. I won't be back to him . Unbelievable

Highly recommended
He’s great, sat down to discuss all of the options for my knees and the pros and cons to each. We decided to go with cortisone shots, he explained everything thoroughly and in a way that I could understand, went over how often I can do the shots, and he administered the shots as painlessly and considerately as possible. I will definitely be coming back to him. I had a doc at DMOS who glossed over things, didn’t even tell me what was wrong with my foot, and had differing answers about how often and how many times I could get the shots. That experience made me afraid to go to an ortho doc ever again. But Dr. Beecher relieved my fears and made me feel comfortable, and made me feel involved in the decision-making process about my own health.

Uncommonly fantastic medical experience
Fabulous experience. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Appointment time was respected. Benjamin came in and asked good questions regarding the reason we were there. He listened well and asked good follow-up questions about previous treatments. Our options were laid out nicely concerning possible course of action for treatment/solution. It was as though we were the only people he was dealing with and we didn’t feel like there was any rush to get to the next appointment. Very much appreciated the time spent and explanation of the medical issue(s) as well as the treatment options being explained in clearly understood words.

Smooth process
I had an appointment at 3:05pm. I was called into the room at 3:03, taken directly for x-rays and then Dr. Beecher saw me 15 minutes later. I was very impressed with the efficiency of this place. Dr. Beecher was pleasant and got to the point. He explained what he thought the issue was and answered my questions. I didn’t feel rushed in any way.

Not very friendly
We waited a very long time for him to come in the room and visit with us maybe 5 minutes. Bedside manner left a lot to desire. May be knowledgeable but if you want a doctor who will treat with compassion I would not recommend.

Very Satisfied
Today was my first appointment. I’ve had several others different people and I have been in a lot of pain for four years. I was told they could do nothing today I’m at my new doctor and he told me my condition and we decided to do surgery and I’m very happy that he told me how everything goes and explained my condition and my options. I feel very comfortable there, I’m very happy to get help. Finally a Doctor Who knows what he’s doing and he cares about me and my health he is very nice and very polite and caring.

I had been to him in 2018 for knee pain in both legs. Cortisone shot and drained fluid from left knee. Great results for me. Back now for right knee and left hip. He spent time with me asking probing questions about my issues. Answered and explained everything to my satisfaction. Suggested treatment plans. Gave me a cortezone shot in right knee, ordered MRI for possible meniscus tear. Need total hip replacement. Bone on bone. Spent time reviewing xrays with me. He was patient, professional. Confident.
