Dr. Benjamin Roth, DO

Unprofessional manners - slumped in his chair, loudly chewed gum the entire time, every question we asked was met with a side to side head wobble with a non-answer answer until we pressed the point. When we asked specific questions about lab results (nRBC and NRBC), he stated, 'Huh, I don't even know what this is.' I think the only reason he looked it up was that he had a student with him. He was dismissive of our concerns, saying, 'We can check this if you want to,' after pointedly asking HIM how critical it was. When I stated that it would be good to have descriptions and info on lab results to understand, he replied, 'Well, there's a lot. Medicare makes us give you all this stuff.' As if it was a great inconvenience for the patient to ask questions. I worked with Medicare over a decade. It's not a Medicare thing. It's patient disclosure for everyone. I hope the student learned something about patient care. If we could score him zero we would.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. His office is always chronically behind, and time is made up by charting, but not practicing medicine. Went in for an annual physical. He literally touched by abdomen and said does anything hurt while i was fully clothed and sitting in a chair. Then said you are still medically young. The entire physical lasted less than 10 minutes. My chart said that my heart had a normal rate and rhythm and that my breathing was fine, but he never listened to either one.

not a very responsive doctor. Doesnt listen to what you tell him. Even though my back is shot and im waiting for surgery he wont perscribe pain meds. I was in bed crying in pain for 3 days and he just blew me off. He doesn't respond to messages. Definitely not a doctor because he cares about people. Its just a job for him
