Dr. Savage Review
Dr. Savage seems to be a very brilliant neurologist. His bedside manner is not always the best. Maybe this is just his demeanor. Long story short, I do trust him as my neurological physician, and I will continue to see him in the near future.

Dr Savage is brilliant and without him and helping detect this rare muscle disease so quickly, my outcome would have been worse. I have been his patient for 4 years now and each year I have improved. He listens to every question, and I always feel I’m in the best hands. He is a blessing to his patients and our community.

Wow. NSG had just changed their mask policy to "masks preferred" when I met Dr. Savage for the first time; I'm not new to NSG. I was thrilled as masks are not compatible to my condition for which I see a neurologist. HE WAS AFRAID OF ME because I was maskless, but did not ask me to wear one. He did not perform the basic neurological tests but wrote in my notes that he did one of them. I worked with other very nice people in billing and management to get my notes to reflect the truth. It was a very upsetting appointment and experience. Patients' rights have been and continue to be dismissed. Doctors need to be held accountable and learn empathy, honesty, and respect. Patients need to speak up when they are treated poorly. I am switching providers again and will hope the next one is better.

Check-in was fast due to majority of it was done online prior to appointment. Vitals were done with ease by a friendly & professional nurse. My doctor is personable and makes me feel like he's glad to see me. He asks questions and listens to my answers. He takes the time to hear concerns I have. My doctor also informs me of test results and explains medical issues in a professional, yet understandable way. He is the first neurologist that has me make follow up appointments to check on my medical/health inssues. I'm glad he wants to keep current on my condition, and if there is anything he can help me with - it makes me feel good that he cares about me.
