Was perfectly healthy before my injury. Decided that part of what was done wasn't from the injury. Worthless doctor shouldn't have a job. He definitely works for the state and insurance not for the patient and their health.

Unkind and dismissive
I took my mom to the ER at St. Helena hospital for extreme abdominal pain. The nurses wouldn’t let me go back with her for an hour. They gave her medication without telling her what it was. If I had been back with her, I could have asked what they were giving her. She told me that they put her in a room and let her cry and throw up without giving her anything for 15 minutes (after waiting in the waiting room for 30 minutes). When I finally got into the room with her, Dr. Stone came in and was rude and dismissive He patronized me for asking questions and was rolling his eyes. He shouldn’t be a doctor if he has no compassion.

Waste of time
Met Dr stone as primary for work comp injury. In a year he utterly failed to notice bulging disc's and was ready to release me without any help. During visits he repeated himself and mostly talked about the process of work comp being lousy. In the end I asked him how many of his patients have disc injuries. His response 85 to 90 percent of them. So I followed up with if this is a common injury that you see so much of how did miss my chief issue. Thumbs down.

Tldr, he made my mom cry seeing how he treated me when he could have just been good and kind at his job. He was arrogant and dismissive and didn’t want to order a scan because his numbers told him a comforting story. I was in pain in the ER and he was happy to turn me away. His head nurse was snarky and insulting. Had to beg for that extra scan. Sure enough they found something. Not life threatening but they had to scrap the hypochondriac narrative they must have been telling themselves. Next emergency I’m calling ahead because if it’s this guy running the ER, I’m going to The Queen.

Dr Stone recently treated me for a head laceration. He was kind, attentive, professional, and did a great job sewing up my wound. Clearly a very competent ER doctor.

I saw Dr. Stone at the ER in St. Helena. He was very gentle with my injuries during the evaluation and made sure to explain anything I needed to know. He also sat down with me and gave me excellent advice on continuing my care with my primary care provider. I would trust this man with my life, without question. Everytime I have to go to the ER, he is the Dr I hope to see. 10/10 with zero complaints!
