Amazing Physician!
Dr. Tharian is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable, generous, and patient physicians I have ever met. He spent over an hour with my father, asking so many important questions, offering a number of suggestion, providing invaluable insight to issues we hadn't even considered, and most importantly, creating a solid plan of action, with room to re-evaluate later if necessary. It has been a very long time since I experienced a doctor of this high caliber. I'm so grateful to him and his team for their exceptional care and for creating a safe and supportive environment for my father.

A BETTER PROGNOSIS THANKS TO DR. THARIAN
Dr. Tharian is very personable and professional. But more importantly he is extremely thorough. He discovered my early stage pancreatic cancer during Endoscopy for a Gallbladder issue. My CT, MRI, and PET/CT scans did not detect this pancreatic head mass but Dr. Tharian found it. I now have a chance to have it removed. I will highly recommend him to anyone in need of such expertise.

He is so professional and knowledgable!
The entire staff was terrific. The pre-op appointment was thorough, and Dr. Tharian reviewed everything with me including the prep. I made a mistake in scheduling, and the office and Dr. Tharian worked with me the best they could. I felt I was in great hands and not rushed—beautiful new facility downtown St Pete, but the care is the best part.

I traveled 160 miles to UAMS so that Dr. Tharian could do an endoscopic biopsy of a pancreatic lesion. I've been through plenty of procedures and each time the surgeon talked to me before and after the surgery. Not with Dr. Tharian. To explain the procedure and the results, he sent an assistant to speak to me. After the surgery, I traveled back home where I started experiencing intense pain. I called Dr. Tharian's office (he wasn't available) and another doctor told me that pain was common and to drink plenty of water. The next day the pain grew even more intense. I called again. His nurse insisted that I drive 160 miles back to Little Rock and check into the UAMS emergency room. I told her it was not possible. I went to a local ER, was admitted to the hospital, and spent the next four days recuperating from the pain and the procedure. I never heard back from Dr. Tharian. I was told by another doctor who reviewed my charts that the procedure blistered my pancreas.

Dr Tharian was very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. He performed an ERCP on my wife with no issues despite the relatively high possibility of complications. He took the time to visit with us before the procedure, explained everything thoroughly and answered our questions. When the procedure was over, he immediately came out to me, let me know she was fine and explained the results. He went above and beyond and I feel truly blessed that my wife was in his hands on this day!

He gives you mixed information without a diagnosis, cancels appointments at the last minute, cancels and reschedules tests three to four times before they are done and if you question it he will say that you probably don't even need the test even though you till don't have a diagnosis and you are obviously sick and getting sicker by the day. Is one of the least compassionate physicians I have ever come across and hope he or his family are never treated the way he treats others. Very Sad!!!!
