Dr. Berhane Seyoum, MD

I had to go more than a week without refills on Insulin. I couldn't get samples or anything from his office. ONLY attitude from staff and a threat to hang up on me. I called everyday saying I had nothing left . Zero. He was a ghost. His office staff claimed they had no idea where he was (other office, vacation, home sick, deceased) nor when he would be back (" we know nothing" ). I starved for a week. I couldn't eat or I would likely die. I ended up in the emergency room eventually. I couldn't get a prescription for my insulin pump, nor vials -only pens my insurance wouldn't cover. My old doctor had an emergency line. The staff would relay this immediately and he'd get back to you (The man carried 6 cell phones at all times). This is not the case with Dr. Seyoum.

I canceled my appointment after finding out from my very honest sister, that Dr. Seyoum just now accused my sister of changing her prescription for her thyroid medication. Like wrote in her own number of the dose of her thyroid medication. When he, in fact, wrote that script himself. Absolutely disgusting, this guy should lose his ability to harm other patients. Yuck!

An hour an half wait to be seen, he orders blood work, I've made over 5 calls to office and 3 months later nobody will go over my results and fill my prescription. I have to go back to my primary doctor to get my refills and medication adjusted. Do not waste your time, they bill your insurance and then leave you hanging.

Took time out to explain my condition show me data of how my diabetes progress on a chart which was monitored with a device in arm for the report Great experience! Don't have to wait long in office to see the doctor! Front desk took good care of getting my prescriptions!
