Dr. Mandelbaum was great, understood my needs and concerns, explained the benefits and potential downsides and helped me get in as soon as possible. My recovery is going great so far and I am extremely happy with how it all has gone.

I tore my ACL and had to have reconstruction surgery. Not only is Dr. Mandelbaum one of the best doctors in LA, he also has a great bedside manner. He is thorough; he made sure I understood all of the steps along the way and guided me on a very successful rehab journey. I highly recommend .

Dr. Mandelbaum is a highly skilled surgeon who only recommends surgery when necessary. During visit, he offers various treatment options and brings extensive experience to his practice.

The only way this would have been a positive experience is if I already had a medical degree and already knew the protocol for what to do with my type of injury. As I type this, I have a torn meniscus and I was not told activities to avoid, which are safe, what to expect... Can I go to work, can I drive (I haven't been able to) Very frustrating. The doctor did his part in showing me the tear on the scan and took the time to use anatomical models to explain: GREAT. But someone (not necessarily him), should have explained what I'm supposed to do about it and what to expect. I had to ask- should I use Ice? Should I wear a brace? And.. NO one mentioned medication at all. Is that because the shot negates the need for Ibuprofen or other meds? If so, they should have told me because I'm still taking meloxicam as prescribed by my GP. Medical staff were nice, but rushed and not thorough and I picked up on a slight degree of condescension- I had to ask questions about things they should hav...

Dr Mandelbaum has been caring for my knees for several years. I appreciate that he takes the time to actually listen to your concerns and explain the different options for treatment and work with you to find the best course of action for your needs. He is the first surgeon that has actively pushed for the least invasive course of action and work towards what works for you as an individual. He staff is all extremely pleasant and helpful and the doctors he has working with him are all top notch.

Talked me through what was happening to my knee in terms I understand and was didn't make me wait.

The provider himself was great and validated my concerns. He discussed that additional follow up was needed and reassured me that more clarity would be provided once further testing was done.

He understood where I was coming from and the office and support were all amazing. Every step has been a positive experience. The surgery and support after all of it.

Could have given more guidance for the healing period leading up to PT-/ how much should I walk? How long with brace?

The way he talks to you, not as you're a health care person, and not as an idiot, he talks to you like he wants you to truly understand what he is going to do in your procedure and your diagnosis, and that is very much appreciated.

I think as many as six of my Sunday soccer team mates have been to this facility on my recommendation.

They didn't draw blood very well. A lot of bruising. Dr. Mandelbaum was wonderful. He did a GREAT job.

Dr. Bert Mandelbaum is well known and recognized for his outstanding technological surgeries. I injured my knee playing soccer hard-core. I am very passionate and play rough so I detached my anterior cruiciate ligament completely. I bruised my tibia across and my femur. Broke 4 different cartilage areas but Dr. Mandelbaum performed a cutting edge surgery with biodegradable screws. On the day of surgery, he recommended specific exercises, 2 weeks after the surgery I can pretty much walk, bend and extend my knee. He is very personable, kind, professional and friendly. He addressed all of my concerns each time we met. His team is the best I’ve experienced. I definitely trust him, respect him and admire his amazing work. I would not let anyone else but him. I recommend him 100%
