Dr. Beth Wiedel, MD

Phenomenal experience at this practice and with Dr. Wiedel.Dr. Wiedel was the first doctor that made me feel fully heard. She took her time to ask me questions about everything I was experiencing, gave me context to how the questions related to my symptoms, and provided an array of options to move forward with. She didn’t dismiss or diminish any of the pain I had mentioned, and made me feel comfortable enough to keep asking questions. I never felt rushed or nervous in the room (having had some poor experiences with obgyn’s in the past, this was really major for me).It is really clear that Dr. Wiedel cares about her patients and about them feeling in control and at ease throughout the appointment. I’m really glad to have found her.

I couldn’t recommend a better OB/GYN. I am currently seeing Dr Wiedel for my 2nd pregnancy. We moved to the area this last year from out of state, and I am so pleased I found her to provide care to me and my baby. She has a way about her in the clinic setting that leaves me feeling 100% heard and supported for any and all concerns I may have. No matter what question I have, big or small, she does a wonderful job of taking the time with me and meeting me exactly where I am at emotionally and physically. She does a great job of focusing on the pinpointed concern of the visit, all while having the big picture in mind. She is practical, sensitive, and straightforward with providing her patients with the knowledge to make decisions for her and her baby. There are many wonderful OB/GYN providers in the Madison area, but you will not be disappointed in choosing Dr Wiedel at Madison Women’s Health.

I don't want to tell you about how awesome Dr. Wiedel is because I don't want to share her!!! She is so amazing. There is sometimes a wait to see her but it is worth it because she always spends as much time as I need to answer all of my questions and she makes me feel like I'm her only patient. I had a terrible experience with a PCP before doing my OWN research and finding Dr. Wiedel and she completely turned around all of the anxiety I had about my situation. I still get very anxious going to the gyno but she always leaves me feeling relieved and confident in my care. 500/5 stars. My insurance has changed a ridiculous amount of times but the first thing I always check is if she is still covered - the answer has always been YES so far but I would pay OOP for her!!!

I've struggled to find the right fit during my current pregnancy until meeting Dr. Wiedel. She is fantastic! Takes time to work with you, explains her recommendations and your options. My 1st visit w/ Wiedel (@ 32 weeks) was the first time I felt heard and trusted the explanation we talked through, after previously seeing multiple docs for a pre-existing condition complication. You're collaborating with this doctor, not being talked at, which is important to taking charge of your health!

Dr Wiedel is an exceptional doctor. She listens extremely well and explains everything clearly. She has helped me make the best decisions in regards to my health. I am so lucky that I found her.
