I had been a patient of hers for nearly 10 years. Early this year I went through some mental health issues and was unable to work and was unable to pay a balance due with her office of less than $150. Due to not paying this balance she refused to fill my prescriptions for high blood pressure, dietbetes and anxiety which effected my immune system and I ended up in the hospital ICU with severe double pneumonia for a week. After getting released with the hospital I was told to follow up with my primary but she is still refusing to see me until the $142 dollars owed is paid in full. Dr. Fingerhood has no concern for her patients and doesn't care about their health. All she cares about is money and could care less about the well being of her patients. I thought doctors were supposed to live up to a certain standard of care....

Dr. Fingerhood is good if you need routine appointments. She's good if you don't need anything more than the basic care. She does take her time with you, she seems thorough during that time BUT...she doesn't listen or try to understand an issue if it's foreign to her. I was diagnosed with a chronic condition by another Dr. and have specialists lined up caring for that condition. However, a PCP should take the time to UNDERSTAND all aspects of care. I went from being a horse to a zebra. When you have to fight to be heard and understood in regards to a new condition that the DR. hasn't heard about....it's time for a NEW PCP. She is great for BASIC care and I appreciate all the time she took to try to understand 1 aspect of care but stopped being the right Dr. for the job. When other Doctors/Specialists agree it's time to switch PCP and she isn't effective it's confirmation of her ability to provide the best care possible..or in this case, inability.

My previous primary care physician stopped practicing and I have had an initial visit with Dr. Fingerhood. I have some questions about transferring records and prescriptions. It has been 4 days and I have not had a return call. I have called one time each day since. That tells me all I need to know.

Dr. Fingerhood has been my pcp for almost 20 years. She reminds me of my mother. Caring, interested, attentive. I sometimes have to wait a while once in her office for my appointment because she is thorough and truly interested in her patients. She could schedule her appointments further apart to avoid this and I put up with it because I know she'll spend as much time with me.

Staff is very nice and caring. Dr Fingerhood has a great bedside mannor and very easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable with with her decisions on my health. She explained all test results and also get sent to you by email.
