Dr. Calkins sat with me and discussed all my concerns. For about half an hour. She gave me information I didn't have and counseled me on my conditions and meds.

Unprofessional
This doctor and her staff are the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. She is arrogant and extremely unprofessional. She ignores her patients concerns and thinks she knows it all! Never have encountered such a bad doctor in all my life. I had an infection and she refused to listen to me wound up with surgery in the hospital.

Lacking empathy, knowledge + professionalism!
Dr Calkins and her staff lack any trace of empathy or simple human decency. No one in that office seems capable of picking up the phone or returning emails. It’s up to me to follow up (usually multiple times) to have emails answered only to be told I need to make an appointment ($$$$) in order to have the question answered!! The level of rudeness is beyond describable. I’ve been promised that meditation would be called in and it doesn’t get done for several days. Right now, I’ve been waiting over a week for a response to an email. I’ve had multiple medication mistakes and missed refills because nobody picks up the phone/answers email. During my last visit I was rudely asked “why” I wanted to have a hormone panel on my next blood work. I should not have to justify advocating for my own health. There is no compassion or integrity at this office. Don’t waste your time, health or money going to The Doctor’s In in Roseville. You’ll regret it.

An awful experience. They seemed nice enough at the first appointment. Multiple mistakes on lab work. No knowledge of covid tests after multiple requests for a referral. Unable to make and keep appointments. Confusion amongst staff. Finally, before even seeing the doctor she sends me a letter on MyHealthOnline that I have been fired because of how I treated her staff! I hadn't been to see a doctor in 5 years because I was focused on caring for my terminally ill husband. This is the treatment I get. I am hurt and disappointed. Very unprofessional and arrogant to treat people in need this way.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!! She does not know what she's doing! She is always right and she will not allow you to be! She will lie to your face! Her staff has no training and they blatantly lie to you because of their lack of experience and training! Dr Caulkins will chew you out for the smallest thing and lie because of her lack of knowledge. She is always late, just waltzes in!This staff and the PA don't even know how to fax anything! JUST STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE FOR YOUR HEALTHSAKE!

Dr Calkins was very informative, & thorough in taking my medical history. I felt very comfortable talking to her. She not only listened to me but was very compassionate as well. I am so happy that I found such a knowledgeable & caring physician. The staff was very friendly & helpful as well.

If your not sick or have any chronic issues, she is ok. However, it is the worst experience I have ever had. They have terrible communication issues. Do not expect to get proper care under this office. I would never recommend this practice to anyone.

Please do not waste your time going to this doctor, or her practice, The Doctor Is In, Inc. Her staff is beyond useless. They do not seem to be able to do their jobs, and if you complain about it, you are classified as unkind, and let go. Missing labwork orders, incorrect insurance billing, and repeated unreturned calls. This is what you will have to deal with, as well as a doctor who can't see her staff for what they really are. Just find another doctor.
