Dr. Bonita Franklin, MD

Initial visit was okay. Two days after injection I ended up in ER with allergic reaction to injection. I contacted her office first thing Monday morning and was given appointment for next day. Her assistant, Jaime, intercepted appointment and cancelled it. Said the injection medicine couldn't be responsible. Three weeks have passed and no contact from Franklin. I would not recommend and have made appointment with Dr in a completely different practice group.

As soon as I was put into a room, Dr. Franklin came in and informed me that she was not accepting any new patients. When I asked why I was there, she shrugged her shoulders and said, 'I don't know.' I found her response to be very rude and inconsiderate. She advised me that none of the doctors are taking new patients and she only wants to spend her time on surgery or injections.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dr. Franklin is one of the few Drs that I've seen in the last couple of yrs that truly wants you to have a good outcome and also considers the patients input.

Dr Franklin has helped my neck and back pain tremendously, my quality of life has returned! I’ve had 5 neck surgeries, 3 that did not heal properly and 2 from a different Dr to complete the healing process! My lower back has stenosis, which surgery helped for 6 months, I now get epidurals to avoid another unwanted surgery. Dr Franklin cares about her patients, I have epidurals and oblations in both neck and lower back that have helped with pain control and every day life. I would refer Dr Franklin to all of my family and friends. Her staff in the office and hospital puts your nerves at ease from the time I walk in the door until I leave. She has definitely given my quality of life back to me, I’m forever grateful!

Dr. Franklin has took care of me since Dr. Anthony retired. She has taken good care of me. She listens and explains things so that I can understand everything.

When it came time for me to investigate pain management my PCP recommended Dr. Franklin. She's no-nonsense and focused.

I went for the first of two numbing procedures that will later. Dr. Franklin explained the process clearly and without hurrying in the consult. When I went to have the procedure done, the staff was cheerful, helpful, worked to put me at ease and comfortable. I was impressed by the entire staff at how attentive they were to make my stay comfortable.

Dr. Franklin and her MA Jamie are amazing! They are very kind and listen and address any concerns or questions you have. I highly recommend them.

New to the area and have low back pain that was inhibiting me from enjoying life. Primary Dr recommended this clinic. From the very first visit Dr Franklin was very pleasant. Spending time to discuss and understand my health and this concern. Discussed her treatment plan in depth and made sure I was comfortable with it. Even during COVID Dr Franklin scheduled a procedure with in a few days. Following the procedure have been able to get back to enjoying life. Dr Franklin and staff have been wonderful throughout. Very reassuring knowing Dr Franklin is there to help me when pain gets in the way of enjoying life! Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr Franklin for several months and she has been such a blessing helping me with my pain management. My ultimate goal is to no longer rely on pain medications to get thru the day and to have an active life with my wife and grandchildren. Dr Franklin has used different procedures and made several suggestions that have greatly improved my overall pain level and I'm confident that ultimately our goal will reached. Dr Franklin and her staff are always friendly and attentive to your needs, you can also expect to be seen at your appointment time (I've never waited over 5 minutes to be seen). I love the fact that she works so diligently to get to the root of your problems and she cares about you she listens and explains the course of action in detail but in a way that anyone can understand. I highly recommend Dr Franklin to everyone and I am extremely satisfied with the care she has provided me and my family.

I had been in a car wreck and was referred to her by my neurosurgeon. She was very pushy about injections and medicine I did not feel comfortable with. My doctor said it could be years before I healed but said that even though surgery would help they didn’t recommend it because of my age and risks with having a young child because I would have to get it again in 10 years or less. The neurosurgeon also said injections wouldn’t help. Since I followed what the doctor told me she refused to continue my medicine even though other doctors cannot help once you are in a contact. I did everything non invasive I was asked to do including 15 weeks of PT. I am still dealing with the pain almost a year later and have to go for a new MRI. Instead of helping and managing pain she leaves you without help waiting on your new doctors appointment to not be her patient. She doesn’t listen.

Dr Franklin was very nice, very knowledgeable, but not up front and honest. My first appointment went well, and she laid out a treatment plan for me if I was willing to lessen my dose of narcotics. I did test positive for marijuana, but I hadn’t smoked for over two months, and had no intention of doing so again. I thought about it, and decided to use her as my doctor. I told her that when she came to do my injections. She again laid out her treatment plan and I was excited. The next day, her nurse called me to say that because of my positive test for marijuana, she would not prescribe any narcotics for me. I had already cancelled my old pain management clinic, and am now left with nowhere to go. Dr. Franklin should have been honest and straightforward with me from the beginning. She left me in a horrible position, and I feel very beytrayed.
