The worst service ever received
I would not recommend her to anyone. She’s in the wrong industry clearly and needs to leave if she cannot tend to human beings as this is what her doctrine is supposed to be for. I simply asked her for her credentials upon her entering my daughter’s room that was a patient, and she did not provide me any information and chose to ignore me. When I asked her again for her credentials, she then said I don’t want a confrontation. How is a confrontation simply asking for information. I’m going to make sure Lehigh Valley. Medical Center is aware of the hostile doctor that they have working in their facility, it’s unacceptable to see this is the behavior coming from a current doctor working in labor and delivery.

HORRIBLE
I unfortunately miscarried everything had passed. This women still tried to give me a D/C when in fact I was less than 10 weeks. Basically tried to bully me into having surgery or taking medication. She told me my ultra sound was normal no need to be alarmed and everything basically came out naturally but was still pushing invasive measure. I told her to let me ponder about it with my OB. The next day I found out my scheduled appointment with my OB was cancelled under her directive and surgery had been scheduled when it wasn’t consented… horrible horrible horrible …. Her bedside manner is horrible absolutely disgusting.

Dr. Osterwald is condescending and rude. Does not answer questions appropriately, and lacks any compassion at all. Also observed being rude to staff. Wish I could give 0 stars.

i would leave zero stars if i could
unfortunately she was the doctor on call when I was admitted. She had absolutely no bedside manner. she basically disagreed with everything my regular OB/GYN suggested. she made me feel drug seeking when in fact I've never used drugs and would never agreed to be put on such heavy medication's but after a very intensive and highly invasive hysterectomy BSO that took almost 7 hours as opposed to three I had no choice but to go on anything that would subside the pain. she basically just told me to meditate. needless to say I couldn't wait for my doctor to return.

This woman was absolutely horrid. No bedside manner and talks down to her patients. She was unfortunately the doctor on call when my baby was ready to be delivered, and she made the already scary experience unbearable.

After pretty constant complications, I went into labor at 21 weeks. Unfortunately, Dr. Osterwald was on rotation that morning when I went to the hospital. Not only did she not consult with the MFM doctors I'd been seeing regularly, but she told me to ignore their advice about when to come to the hospital. She did not listen when I said I thought I was having mild contractions. Two hours after being discharged by Dr. Osterwald, I was admitted because I was in fact in labor.

Expect a terse, impersonal lecture on whatever topic is at hand. Expect no smiles, only a serious demeanor. Her too-soft voice is hard to understand and words are not enunciated. Radiates authoritarianism instead of compassion. After the first few years I began to dread my annual visits. Was told in a letter she was no longer practicing, later it seems she still is practicing. I will not be returning to her office.

Dr. Osterwald is an excellent oby-gyn. She's very knowledgeable and attentive to her patient's concerns. I was happy to have her around when all my three boys were born. I would strongly recommend her if she's still practicing.

Uncomfortable atmosphere, never received results of my test after contacting office over 5 times. Found out my test sample was lost but was never told that until I went to another office. Poor communication! Terrible follow through.
