Dr. Bonnie Waite, MD

She was so personable! I felt on a level playing field with her. She answered my questions thoroughly.

She came into the hospital room with her arms crossed. She didn't even introduce herself. She automatically went on to discuss pain control. It was so obvious how she felt about her care for patients . After reading her progress note that we received from St Luke's medical records we found that she lied in her note. She reported we demanded a second GI team . We not only did not ask , we don't even understand what that would mean. She also reported that we demanded to go to a tertiary center. However, the truth is she recommonded we go to Portland where there is more 'cerebral' providers who might find the answer. This was a terrible encounter with this provider. As a health care provider myself I would never treat a patient the way she did today. So sad when you have a debilitating illness that specialists can't even figure out what's wrong with you and then on top of it to be treated so poorly by the person who is to supposed to help you.

I have seen Dr. Waite over the past 15 or so years for separate issues. She is warm hearted yet unashamed to be straight on candid when the news is rough. She has been and will continue to be one of my go to doctors. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

My husband and I have both seen Bonnie and have always been very happy with her services.

Dr. Waite, She's phenomenal , of the highest integrity, supportive, honest, caring, informative, the most excellent physician in her field of expertise, and l am grateful she's my Gastroenterologist. She's given me the best possible care, for an extremely rare and difficult disease to treat. Dr. Waite is mindful and respectful of my wishes. I place her at the highest level of all physicians I've ever seen,or that have personally cared for me. I have nothing but gratitude, respect and could not and would not ever want any other Gastroenterologist, she's irreplaceable.

She's not available to her patients at all.

She is a superbly competent doctor, a terrific manager of her people, and excellent communicator with her patients. She deserves a galaxy not just five stars.

Friendly. Professional and very informed about issues pertaining to each patient. She is honest in her approach. Relaxed in interactions. I highly recommend Dr. Waite to anyone in need of these kinds of services.

Great doctor but horrible nurse. Don't bother relying on her nurse to call you back when you need Dr. Waites help! What a letdown because she really is a great doctor. Expect to wait over an hour to see her when you at your appointment. Take a book. I had to change doctors because of her horrible nurse.

I have seen Dr. Waite several times off and on over the years, and I find her extremely professional, compassionate, well informed, and personable. I would go on, but I don't want it to be too hard to get an appointment because she's too booked! Seriously, she's one of the best doctors I have ever been to, and I respect her immensely....
