Dr. Boris Gronas, MD

I saw Dr. Gronas for pain I was having my foot, which was also very swollen. Not only did he not listen, he didn't believe me, and didn't even care to look at my foot and when I pointed at the affected area and asked him if he could see the swelling; he said 'You know what your foot should look like.' I left there devastated. I was getting teary eyed because he was not listening. After he noticed that he looked at my file and said 'Oh, you are paying with cash.' I have no idea what he even meant by that. I assumed maybe he treats people without insurance differently? I left their upset, in pain, and confused. Oh, and if you are reading this because you also had a negative experience with this doctor... Please get a second opinion. Another doctor will believe you and help you. :) I was able to get diagnosed and proper care and I hope anyone reading this does also.

I saw Dr. Groans at Patient First for an ongoing condition follow up. He was very short with me and didn’t have any interest in hearing how I had been doing on the new medication I was on. He took no interest in my concerns over side effects that may or may not have anything to do with the medication. I barely even got to explain what was going on because he continued to cut me off saying I was fine. I do not have a primary care doctor and instead go to patient first - which says they do primary care. Well not according to this doctor who scolded me about this lack of a primary care as if I deliberately had no interest in my health. He behavior lacked any compassion, understanding, or care for what I was experiencing. If he or someone he cares about gets sick, I certainly wish them a better doctor than he was to me.

Very attentive doctor, highly recommend.
