Horrible experience
The nurses knew more than Dr. Crockett did. If you want someone that cares about you and your condition I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

Dr Boyd Crockett is nothing less than a snake.
He doesn't work for the patient, he works for the insurance companies who pay for his comfortable lifestyle. He will lie to your face, make you believe he cares about your injuries, then behind your back he has no problem in destroying your life. None of this is made up, he did it to me. Left me untreated, cut off all further much needed treatment, left me broke when I shouldn't be, with bills that are doing to be unpaid, utilities going to be shut off, relationships on rough waters. Why? Because he's just another heartless, fake, unmoral, evil person with some power, and his true colors are only those which have been bought by those he really cares about, the ones who put the food on his table, make sure all his bills are taken care of, the insurance companies. He should lose his license, at the very least. If you are sent to Dr Boyd Crockett for a workers compensation accident, you should be very afraid. Do not trust him, and take nothing for granted. He is not what he seems.

poor communication and responses
The doctor pretty much flew through the room. He left the room in the middle of me asking another question. This doctor prescribed a non-narcotic pain medication which is perfectly acceptable to me. then gave me an injection which did not work. I did not blame him for the injection not working, but he referred me to his surgeon and would not respond to my request for a refill of the non-narcotic pain medications. when he is washed his hands of you, Good luck!

After a year dealing with a pain clinic and just having to schedule more useless appts, I just saw Dr Crockett in a week after my GP send them my request. I found out from him besides the raging arthritis poking on nerve endings I also had two vertebrae that were 1/2 slipped. ( An MRI and so many X-rays I glowed, the other place never told me that) any how he was so nice! And now I have appt for nerve ablation in 1 week. Good bedside manner, caring and efficient THIS is how Dr’s should act!!!!!!

At first, he seemed interested in trying to figure out what was wrong with my neck after the previous doctor couldn't. I was in severe pain, lost sensation in my right arm, electric shocks down my arms, etc. I called his office and spoke with his nurse. I expressed to her that I was in such horrible pain, I was scared, new symptoms were developing almost on a daily basis now, etc. I had an upset tone in my voice because of the amount of pain I was in and how scared I was. She wrote me off and told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait until my appointment the next week. 2 days later I got a phone call saying that I was being fired for being mean to his nurse and " questioning their ability to treat". Most unprofessional doctor and nurse I have ever dealt with in my life. I feel like he realized I wasn't a simple case and wrote me off because he didn't want to take the time to dig deep and figure out what was actually going on. DO NOT go to this doctor!!

The receptionist was very friendly. His nurse was very caring and Friendly. The Doctor was a caring man and took very good care of my knee. This was the second knee that he took care of for me. I had a series of three shot to build up the meniscus in my knee. I would recommend Dr. Crockett to everyone . He is a true caring and knowledgeable Doctor. All the people in this office I came in contact were very friendly and helpful.

I have had severe Knee pain for many years. Finally got recommended to a specialist. Not impressed from the moment he walked into the room. I could tell it was going to be the same song and dance. He did acknowledge my knee was messed up. But other than giving me a little relief he wants physical rehab. I told him I have no issues with using the knee, performed every test he had me try. I just want pain relief. 40 years of knee pain. Guess no more sleep.

After years of being pushed thru “the system” and made to feel like I was a hypochondriac... I finally have started getting some answers and help, and it’s all because Dr. Crockett took time to listen to what I was really saying, paid attention to lab and tests results and put things together. He also told me “this is not in your head and we’re going to figure it out”. Which meant SO MUCH. He gave me some hope that things could get better. I’m thankful for his and his staff’s care & kindness.

Wonderful doctor! Fantastic bedside manner. After a car wreck in August. I Was referred from my orthopedic doctor and was wondering what in the world is a PM&R doctor. He’s a doctor who finds out what is the problem! Went to the orthopedist 3 times and he was unable to figure out what was causing my pain. Thanks to Dr. Crockett, the source of my pain was discovered. I will be having surgery soon and hopefully will be pain free soon after that.

I have been under the care of Dr. Crockett for about a year for a synovial cyst in my back. I find him to be very attentive and compassionate trying to deal with my pain. He will not want you to take the easy route to surgery, but is great at helping you find relief. He has a good sense of humor which helps.

Dr Crockett was the 13th Dr I went to for my hip pain. Unlike the other Doctors he refused to do anything without the MRI I had asked every other Dr to do. He found I had a torn labrum and referred me to a surgeon. I'm not fully pain free but I rarely feel the need to take anything for it. I have pain in my other hip that comes and goes. He hasn't figured that one out but I still love this Dr. He is very compassionate as well.

He spent less than ten minutes with me ordered an mri, gave me crutches. I asked for something for the pain and he said yes. I checked out and no prescription so she called back and he said to go to my primary care physician he doesn't write those kind of prescriptions. It makes me feel like I did something wrong.. not good manners.
