Very helpful and the best team
I want to thank Dr. Brad Swelstad and his team at Shady Grove Fertility Clinic, as they helped me conceive my first child. Dr. Swelstad was very helpful throughout the process, explaining the procedure in detail. His team always responded to my questions and concerns whenever I reached out. Compassionate. Knowledgeable. Patient. Responsive. Family. These are just a few of the many words I would use to describe the experience my husband and I had with Dr. Swalsted and the Fair Oaks Team. Anyone having to turn to a fertility clinic is certainly nervous, on edge, and not sure what to expect, but from our first consultation with Dr. Swalsted we knew this would be the place and doctor for us. Dr. Swalsted is real, he’s not there to sugar coat but to use results, science, and facts to advise his patients. He’s personable and smart and direct but very caring. His bed side manner is the best out there. He works with you, not dictating what you must do. Most importantly, he listened to our needs and wants.The fertility adventure can be long, tiresome, and filled of more downs than ups at times but with Dr. Swalsted and his team at Fair Oaks we felt supported and loved.

The absolute best!
Dr. Swelstad is the absolute best! We feel so blessed that we found him. He is positive, kind, knowledgeable, and very patient. He always took the time to make sure we fully understood everything going on and any new treatments/protocols he recommended. He was available to call or meet with us if we ever needed to talk with him. When going through some thing as difficult as fertility treatments, it is so important to find a team who truly cares and are supportive-Dr. S and SGF Fair Oaks staff are just that! We are so blessed to now have 2 beautiful SGF babies. Thank you Dr. Swelstad!

Highly recommend Dr. Swelstad!
We can't praise Dr. Swelstad enough! He is very knowledgeable and in general a very kind person with great bedside manner. He was there every step of our journey and personally reached out to discuss results/next steps, even when the nurses had already followed up with us as well. He genuinely cares about his patients and we are so happy we chose him to be our RE! I highly recommend Dr. Swelstad - our miracle is now 6-months old and wouldn't be here without him.

Spent the time & customized our approach
Dr. Swelstad was eager to help us right from the first meeting we had with him. He took the time to listen to us and review all the information we had sent prior, so we could hear his expert opinion and recommendations. We were a little hesitant to do anything that would result in multiples for a few reasons, so he worked with us to come up with a slower approach which is what we were ultimately most comfortable with. As things progressed without luck, we went to plan B and then eventually plan C. I needed to see another specialist and get a procedure done and he made sure he sent me to the best of the best in the business. Hands down from start to finish, he was always offering his help and answering any questions or concerns. His bedside manner was just so calming and positive-it made us feel like we were being understood and there would eventually be a solution for us that would help us expand our family- which we finally did in 2022 - all thanks to Dr.Swelstad!

I would like to share my great experience and highly recommend dr. Brad Swelstad! Dr. Brad and his team were extremely patience and showed unbelievable empathy for me and my case. By no meanings it was an easy process, it required a lot of commitment and patience, but the doctor and his team encourage me every step of the way through the entire process. It's very important to have in addition to professional care and medical support someone who can also push you up when you become hopeless which I was at many occasions, especially when my first transfer was unsuccessful. "We will do It" attitude helped me overcome all obstacles on my challenging path to become a mother. After second transfer, in which on dr. Swelstad advice, two embryos were transferred, both not so great quality, miracle happened and I stayed pregnant! It was unreal feeling for me and the happiest at the same moment. I followed my baby growth through pregnancy and Thank you, Dr. Swelstad and your fantastic team!

Great patient-first experience
We worked with Dr. Swelstad for about a year and he helped us through our journey. From day one, he was responsive, attentive, caring and made us feel at easy. Patient and Thourough
We are very pleased with the care we received from Dr. Swelstad! He was so kind and was always available to answer our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured by him and the staff at SGF Fair Oaks. We are now 13 weeks with our miracle baby and couldn't have done it without Dr. Swelstad and the team at SGF Fair Oaks. Excellent job on all accounts
From our first meeting up to now, Dr. Swelstad has been nothing but professional, informative and sensitive. Dr. Swelstad has somehow perfected the difficult balance of being thoroughly educated and up to date in his field and patient and kind enough to make you feel important to him. Throw in a significant other and he manages their personality as well. Dr. Swelstad's kind demeanor, positive attitude and his ability to be informative but not over-promise has really stuck out to me and I am very grateful to him and his team.

Happy with care provided
Although Dr Swelstad was not my primary doctor at SGF, he performed some of my monitoring appointments for IVF. He gave thorough answers, explained what he saw, and allowed time for questions. I would recommend him.

Dr. Swelstad and his whole team are incredible
Dr. Swelstad helped me conceive my first pregnancy and the whole experience was fantastic. Obviously the whole infertility part was not, but both he and his entire team are complete professionals. His demeanor is both extremely calming and reassuring and I always felt like a priority. Would 100% recommend.

I have been to a few fertility doctors and Dr. Swelstad is hands down the best in my opinion. He was patient, understanding and aggressive in his treatment of IUI's with us while my husband was deployed. You can tell he truly listens and hears what you are saying. Great bedside manor and very personable as well. I trust his completely with my care.

Dr Swelstad is very friendly and approachable. During our first visit he made us feel at ease. The staff and everybody at SGF fair oaks and fairfax were very nice. I’m glad to have went through great service with SGF and having Dr Swelstad guide Us through our treatments. Currently pregnant on our first baby and first IVF! It was a rollercoaster ride with all the appointments and compliance with meds but it was definitely worth it. They made sure everything went well before heading through the transfer. You’re in good hands with Shady Grove and would definitely come back in the future for our 2nd baby!
