Performed hip replacement surgery. He and his team was excellent throughout the process. Starting with my procedure being significantly below the average for a hip replacement, they helped me to understand why and make me feel comfortable with the decision to do so. It has been 8 months since my surgery and I can say I am fully recovered now for some time. I continue to do physical therapy to strengthen muscles around the hip. The final part of my recovery is to build up endurance. You and your family will be happy you make the decision to pick Dr Graw and his team.

Knew that my back was affected by the TKR and blew me off. Terrible follow up from the office about my ongoing pain. Convarer belt surgery. I felt like a number. Go elsewhere for better care.

Simply OUTSTANDING !!!
This docto & surgeon is special. Unlike most surgeons, he is personable and caring. You never feel like a project that only needs repair, without feeling. He has excellent and gorgeous assistants who have a brain and are responsive. The office hums with efficiency. Dr. Graw uses state of the art technology to fix your issue, like the MAKO evil eyed cyclops that did my knee in less than 10 minutes. No complaints here at all, from start to follow up...absolutely spectacular experience.

So happy with my new hip!
Huge thanks to Dr. Graw and everyone at his practice, including Dr. Lannin who spent 45 minutes with me talking about the procedure's risks and benefits so I had so much less anxiety come surgery day. Dr. Graw is a complete professional who took the time to understand what activities were most important to me post-surgery, and ensured I'd be able to do them. Now 6 weeks out I'm pain-free and working on building back muscle that has atrophied over the last year. His awesome team made sure I had the post-surgical care I needed to get back on my feet as quickly as possible. Everyone I spoke with in the medical community said that Dr. Graw and his partners were the best in the Bay Area, and after my experience, I couldn't agree more. So happy to be pain-free again!

Dr Graw performed a double knee replacment on me 2 1/2 years ago. He and his staff (Jennifer) were thorough, responsive and kind. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Graw. I am 54 and pain free. He's the best! Sequoia Hospital was also amazing. The nurses were great!

As an active 65 yr old ex-athlete I depend on my legs to remain in shape and my knee replacement surgery with Dr. Graw was fantastic and the best of all my previous four knee surgeries. Dr. Graw's efforts and skill have led to a speedy recovery and I could not be happier and thankful for him and everyone at PAMF and Sequoia Hospital who took care of me.

I began seeing Dr. Graw Fall '20 after a year of troubleshooting my hip and trying various potential alternative treatments to correct pain and inflexibility issues. I am a very active 53 year-old and was scared to death of the prospect of joint replacement (left hip) for fear that my active lifestyle would come to an end. Dr. Graw and his team walked me through the plan and procedures, pre and post op, and I followed their instructions diligently. Now 6 weeks since the surgery, I am happy to say that my left hip feels better than when I went in. And, I am happy to say I plan on continuing my active lifestyle of hiking, biking, swimming as well as other activities. The entire process was extremely pleasant and went as per the communicated plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Graw and his team for others considering the same procedure and congratulate the team for holistically approaching patient care necessary to make this experience very painless and successful. Thank you!

After seeing Dr Graw for 18 months for severe Osteoarthritis, I decided that it was time for total joint replacement. He had done what he could by communicating the options, and encouraging Physical therapy which delayed surgery and giving me options for injections, which did not help. I never felt pressured into having surgery, but I knew when I was ready. One of the pre-op nurses told me that Dr Graw had replaced her knee, and he would do an excellent job, and after that it was up to me. In addition to being an excellent surgeon, I appreciated his communication of all the possible options and of the surgical process. After I was diligent about all the exercises, and I was walking a mile within 1 week and 2 miles within one month. I was back with my hiking group by 4 months. It has been 6 months, and I am glad Dr Graw performed the surgery. I hope to delay replacement of my other knee as long as I can, I plan on Dr Graw performing that surgery in the future if needed

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Graw for a year. Dr. Graw is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I’ve had many joint surgeries over 36 years, including right and left total hip replacements. My first consultation with Dr. Graw was for a check on one of my artificial hip joints. A few months later I saw him about one of my knees. Dr. Graw did my total left knee replacement in July, and I’m thrilled with the outcome. He and his team, including the team at Sequoia Hospital, did an excellent job providing information before the surgery, so I was fully prepared and informed about what to expect. Dr. Graw always answers every question I have and presents options. He’s personable and cheerful. I wouldn’t hesitate to see him for any hip or knee problems. I highly recommend Dr. Graw if you want a hip or knee surgeon who partners with you in making decisions.

My brother was a total hip replacement patient of Dr. Graw's. Fantastic care from start to finish. Extremely happy with every aspect of care. Dr. Graw was an excellent communicator, extremely highly-skilled surgeon, very patient, great sense of humor & great interpersonal skills, good listener, encouraging & honest. Dr. Graw's office staff were very helpful, especially Jennifer, his nurse. My brother had a difficult hip & Dr. Graw's expertise resulted in a fantastic outcome. Very grateful!

Incompetent, arrogant, with no regard for his patient’s well-being or quality of life post-operation. He botched my father’s surgery so badly that the new hip replacement is not only shorter than the opposing side, which has already caused additional issues, but it is also not aligned correctly with the other hip either. He screwed up in ALL dimensions. When my father went back in to discuss recourse or corrective action, the response was little more than, “sorry, there’s nothing we can do.”
