Rude telephone service for appointment making
Followed all the telephone prompts to make a new patient appointment. Call was answered and placed on hold due to a another call ahead of me. When my call accepted and explaining my call was cut off and told “this wasn’t a good time and to call back in about an hour because it’s lunch time”….No automated phone messaging advising office closed for lunch. I haven’t even been there for my appointment and I’m already it put off by the attitude. I will also let my insurance carrier be aware and maybe they will remove them from their list of doctors.

Dr Kurgis was very helpful in diagnosing the probable reasons for a severe rash on my back. He gave me a prescription for a cream that immediately stopped the itching and he gave me some free samples of an over the counter body cream for extra dry skin and it was perfect for my skin. I’m glad to have Dr Kurgis for my dermatologist and I feel very confident in his diagnoses and treatment plans,

Had MOH's surgery. Terrible experience! He is brutal, started cutting without waiting for the area to be numb. Stitches were done three days later, very uneven and pulled one side of my nose up so that now one of my nose openings is larger than the other. He assured me that this will go back to normal. One year later it is still the same. I do not believe he is at all concerned about the well-being of his patients, always in a hurry and very rough. STAY AWAY!!

Waited 30 minutes to be called in. Once in, waited 20 minutes more before leaving in disgust.

Called to make sure they could do a specific procedure. They assured us they did that procedure. Husband went in. Waited for the Dr (Chad). Dr. came in and says that they in fact do NOT do the procedure. Husband wasted 45 minutes, saw the Dr just long enough to be told that the receptionist was incorrect about the procedure. And yet, we received a bill for $100. A receptionist said that she didnt think he should be charged but the doctor insisted. Will not be returning, what a waste of time. A

Although his staff was great, I had a similar experience as everyone here. He left my face disfigured and my cyst grew back within 2 years. My scar is crooked, and has 1 "dog ear" piece of skin at the end. Also, a lot of my cheek tissue is missing. So you can literally just see my cheekbone sticking out, with no tissue there. My once full cheek is just gone! I've currently spent over $1,000 trying to fix what he did. As another reviewer said, he just watches TV while operating on you! Shame.

I would not recommend this doctor for ANY Mohs procedure on your face. I had done my due diligence making sure I would be taken care of for Plastic Surgery in the event I would need it and he told me he would take care of it. Turns out he did NOT! I had 5 Mohs procedures on a Friday evening I should have been seen by a plastic surgeon with in a couple of days that didn't happen nor did he tell me that. I had to wait almost a year to have reconstructive surgery which greatly affects the result

I had 2 appointments for a mohs surgury, the first appt was scheduked for 12:00, it was after 12:45 by the time i got into the room. The second appt was scheduked for 9:30 am and at 10:30 i was brought into the room and told “the dr is getting into the parking lot right now”. During both procedures, he spent more time watching the tv than he did paying attention to my face. Theres much more i would like to say, but im out of room. Avoid this person.

Had aMohs procedure to remove a lesion on my face, the MD did not explain a thing, or introduce himself. When he came into the room my face was already draped. He cut, I waited for about 1 hr. in the room for results. He came back and said results clear, stitched me up. I was horrified when I saw my face. I had a at least 1-1/2" uneven incision cut horizontal across my cheek. After a consult with a plastic surgeon and numerous laser treatments and it is looking better. Long off. wait . DON'T GO
