I had a fracture of my elbow after falling off my bicycle in San Francisco, and was highly anxious about functionality since I am left-handed. Patty Rose PA and Dr. Merk are the utmost professional team. 6 screws and a plate later, doing fantastic! NM PT was amazing also and highly recommend Swati Patel. Thanks for taking on my case and enabling me to get back to full functionality!

I had a TPF fracture and a meniscus tear while skiing in Switzerland. My fracture was very challenging as I broke the bone in three different places . I flew home to have an ORIF surgery with Dr Merk. Dr Merk calmly explained the surgery to me and mitigated my anxiety. 1 year after the surgery I have a normal life. No issues related to my injury which is not the norm. Most people live with pain for the rest of their lives. Dr Merk is a life saver!

Extremely knowledgable and dedicated orthopedic surgeon. Identified the best course of action for my broken clavicle injury - in my case without need for surgery. I feel completely confident with Dr. Merk. In addition, the associated hospital, medical facility, and orthopedic department are top notch and among the best in the state.

I entered the ER with a tibial plateau fracture and within 24 hours was operated on my Dr. Merk. His professionalism is demonstrated through his high quality work as well as the time he takes to discuss concerns with patients. I have the utmost confidence in his judgement and capabilities.

I went to see Dr. Merk for an MRI of my knee- Instead, he unnecessarily removed a cast from my foot that was being treated by another doctor, refused to properly examine my knee and left me in excruciating pain for weeks with a cast that was determined to be in the incorrect position by multiple doctors and therapists. During that time, his team ignored all of my calls. By the time the hospital finally responded willing to help, my cast had already been removed by another doctor.
