Dr. Rieders has been my gastroenterologist for years. My recent colonoscopy was performed on schedule and the medical advice and treatment I receive has had positive effects!! Highly recommend!

He disregarded my complaints of severe gastro intestinal pain and ordered an unnecessary procedure. I suffered for months. My condition deteriorated and eventually caused further complications which led to me another type of specialist who discovered I had a severe GI condition that Dr. Reiders should have discovered if he had done his due diligence. Find another doctor. At best he is careless and could care less , at worse he's just negligent.

I recommend Dr. Rieders if your looking for a smart and empathetic doctor. I hate going to doctors but always look toward to seeing him. I had a problem no other doctor could figure out. On a recommendation I went to him and it took no time for him to figure it out, prescribe treatment and get me better. Very grateful. If your looking for a G. I. doctor......go here

I have been going to Dr. Rieders for 25 years for my routine colonoscopies. Dr. Rieders is a wonderful doctor. As a nurse that used to run an endoscopy unit in a hospital I find him extremely knowledgeable and proficient. As a human being he is compassionate and careing. Dr. Is always interested in my life and takes time to talk with me and answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Rieders

Dr Rieders was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me. He figured out my problem and put me on the right medication. I had been to two other gastroenterologists who did not help me. I highly recommend Dr Rieders.

I've been going to Dr.Rieders over 7 years. He's the greatest doctor in the world, answers any question you have never rushes you out of the office if you're in the hospital he comes up every day... If you call his emergency line he will always call you back within 15 to 20 minutes no matter what time of night it is. AND THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT!!!!! They treat you like family never a long wait. Really clean office and you can always find parking....

I am with my husband at Dr. Reiders Valley Stream office for a procedure. His appointment was for 12:45. It is 2:50 and we have not been seen. He could not eat or drink for this procedure. His staff doesn't care and this is totally passed the point of acceptable waiting. We will not be returning to this office. I suggest you don't bother.

Dr. Rieders saw my son who had just come home from college. He diagnosed him with a horrible case of esophagitis & had him on treatment immediately. He took his time to explain how to heal and manage this issue. My son & I both found Dr. Rieders to be courtesy and extremely knowledgeable. He performed two separate endoscopy procedures on my son. One at the beginning of summer and one just before her returned to school. Honestly, we are very happy that we have a GREAT Gastroenterologist !

Horrible doctor who frankly doesn't care about his patients at all. He gave me no advice on the problems that I was having even after my colonoscopy. He told me not to read on the toilet and rushed me out. Do not go to him if you are trying to have an experience at the doctor that will be helpful to your health.
