She did not speak intelligently and did not give much confidence in her position. She also gave an unnecessary drug that made me sick. Out of the 8 surgeries I have had, this was the first time I have felt uneasy and subsequently had a large problem with the surgery. I would highly recommend you find out who your anesthesiologist is before your surgery and request a change if you learn that she is scheduled.

I have undergone two cataract surgeries, one for each eye. The first experience with another anesthesiologist had near zero recovery from the twilight anesthetic, no noticeable effects from surgery, and no effect the second day. I was able to return to work the second day after surgery. From the second surgery with Dr. Blunck, the anesthetic effects; being unstable and very confused, lasted all day and into the night with cramps. I have been worn out for two days.
