Top notch doctor
Doctor Barthel has been my endocrinologist for several years and when my adult daughter was diagnosed I immediately recommended him to her and she has also become a patient of his. Doctor Barthel is patient, never rushes through our appointments, and always takes time to answer any questions I have about my care.

Best doctor I have ever had!
Dr. Barthel has completely transformed how I care for and think about my diabetes. He is more knowledgeable than any physician I have ever had and he teaches you to understand as well so that you can make decisions for your own healthcare. I told Dr. Barthel I would follow him as a patient wherever he goes, whenever he goes because he has made that big of an impact on me. I have well-controlled diabetes now, strictly because of him.

I drive 4+ hours round trip to go see Dr. Barthel. Which should say a lot. It is worth every minute to me. He has a great office manner, will answer all your questions and nothing is rushed. Regarding my diabetes, he has changed my life and I am where I never thought I would be. I don't recommend people lightly, but Dr. Barthel I would recommend highly.
