Callous and cold
I'm writing this on behalf of my wife who's claim had the misfortune of landing on this provider's desk. The callous lack of empathy he showed is the reason why psychiatry is still looked at as a taboo field. As a medical professional myself with 12 years of experience, I was deeply disheartened to read his report knowing the backstory and struggles of the patient. He denied her short term disability claim because she ' was not disheveled, suicidal or in need of inpatient treatment'. She has been suffering from major depression and crippling anxiety to the point where it legitimately affects her everyday life, including her work performance. She never spoke to Mr. Erdos, he only attempted to contact her treating doctors once, and they were not able to return his call to discuss her case. Not only did Mr. Erdos further contribute to her depression, his astounding lack of empathy for her situation has caused her to become increasingly untrusting of the practice of medicine as a whole.

Claim Denial Stamper
You denied my claim without actually speaking to my psychiatric providers. You left messages and said they never called you back, but they did and couldn’t get ahold of you in return. You don’t know me or my situation and are quick to assume because I can pull myself together for a single appointment that I should’ve been able to perform the job that I am not returning to after my leave of absence. Shame on you for making those with mental health issues feel completely invalidated.

Terrible Doctor and a shady practitioner. Always looking to squeeze more money out of patients by suggesting unnecessary procedures vs. treating with what is best for them. I would not recommend this guy.

You reviewed a claim i submitted last year for short term disability. The claim was declined because i didnt seek inpatient care and i wasnt suicidal. You need to know how your decision affected me. I lived on no money coming in, went to cognitive therapy, speech therapy, reiki therapy, sought out spiritual and business mentors (all out of pocket expenses). Please think hard before rejecting a claim. In retrospect i was suicidal. With the help of my faith, i am on the other side of this point in my life.

Definition of what's wrong with the medical system
Dr. Erdos needs his license revoked. Most doctors get into medicine to help patients, well not this Psychiatrist. Background is I have never met/spoken to Dr. Erdos nor has he made an effort to connect with me, which most doctors would do if THEY ACTUALLY CARED for the patient. Dr. Erdos is paid by insurance companies to give his 'honest' evaluation. What incentive does he have to help someone suffering when the money coming in is from PRUDENTIAL? I suffer from severe depression and anxiety due to 4 years of misery of losing my mom to cancer, my dog and best companion after 18 years shortly after my mom's passing, and then seeing my father get so sick that he flatlined twice in front of me. Through my parents being sick I slept at the hospital bedside or right outside their rooms when @ home. I suffer to this date from PTSD. Both doctor's I am under the care of have recommend additional care due to the intensity of my job but Dr. Erdos feels the meds I take r enough to return. Shameful

Found him through Teladoc. What a joke. He had several days to cancel or re-schedule the appointment yet he chose to do it 90 minutes before the appointment time with no additional communications. Way to go doc !
