I took my son to the ER tonight because he hurt his back. He was treated by Dr. Brandon Farmer. Not one time did he ask my son if he needed anything for the pain, nor did he really listen to how he hurt his back. He didn’t care either. I said I would be more comfortable with an x-ray or a possible CT scan or an MRI to rule out anything serious and he refused imaging of all kinds and dismissed us prescribing muscle relaxers and told us to go see our regular doctor. My son can hardly walk or move without pain. I told him he has spine issues and has scoliosis and I want to make sure that it’s not a complication with that since he’s still growing. He didn’t care. Just rushed us out of there so he could be on the next patient and get more money. I’m not 100% sure and I will have to look back and make sure but he could be the same doctor Who previously missed diagnosed my husband‘s pulmonary embolism too. Ask for another doctor!

Dismissive
Dr. Farmer first told me to'just take more laxative' during an ER encounter that led to my being admitted for three days for low blood sodium, which could have killed me, had I followed his advice.

Dr farmer is vengeful in the ER if you don't take the pills you offers and leave. I recommend you ask for a different doctor if you come across him at St Johns in south Austin.
