Knowledge, treatment, follow-up all top notch.
Since initial visit, Dr. Sawyer has been informative, knowledgeable, and caring in treatment, surgery, and follow-ups. He is extremely caring and puts patient at ease regardless of the situation. His staff is considerate and wait time is usually minimal. My confidence with Dr. Sawyer and the Baylor staff involved in care, treatments, and follow-up visits is extremely high.

ANNUAL CHECKUP
My wait was short. Dr. Sawyer and his nurses were very courteous and professional. My exam went very well and Dr. Sawyer was cordial, as he shared information about my health, afterward. It was a positive experience and I really appreciate that!

A Blessed Encounter
Dr. Sawyer took the time to listen to both my concerns and those of my mother. He made sure I was comfortable and understood every step from diagnosis to surgery and treatment. Our appointment time was never rushed, his staff was incredible and took the best care of me throughout this journey. No one wants to hear a diagnosis of cancer but when you encounter a doctor like Dr. Sawyer and his staff, you soon realize that God has put you in the best hands possible.

My visit with Dr Sawyer
Dr Sawyer was very attentive to my concerns . He gave me options but also recommendations on the images . After discussing what the plans were we started this journey to the healing process together . He explained every step of the way. What the possibilities could happen in surgery as with any surgery . Dr Sawyer cared about my well being as does his staff . I'm so proud of the successful outcome of my journey and will continue to be blessed with knowing, I can trust Dr Sawyer with my own family . Thank you Dr Sawyer and staff for all you do for me and others !

The Best
Dr. Sawyer has been so kind and compassionate towards me. He never rushes nor acts if my questions annoy him. He has set the bar high for any physician I see or will see for my other medical issues. What other doctor calls and explains scan results two hours after you had it?? So very thankful and blessed to be under his care.

Wonderful doctor
I met with Dr. Sawyer and his team for the first time today and it truly was an absolute pleasure, he made the 3 hour drive entirely worth it. I left without a doubt that I and my baby are truly in good hands. My only regret is that I wish this site had a 10 star rating.

5-star 100% best doctor ever
This is the Doctor everyone dreams about to take care of their cancer. He is the best and always has been. I went to Dr. Sawyers back in December 2021 after I found out I had stage 4 ovarian cancer. He was up front with me from the beginning and told me exactly what steps he would take to cure me and everything he told me was 100% correct. I had 4 chemo treatments which he told me up front I would need 6. After 4 he decided to do my surgery two chemo after surgery. He was correct on all he told me. I had surgery back in April of 2022 and in July 2022 I had great news and he put me on a Chemo pill after testing and found out that is all needed so far. I now have to go every 3 months for checkup, and he is still as wonderful as he ever was. He always has all time needed to talk and never rushes you out. He was same while I was in hospital every day he came by and stayed as long as I needed him for. He is excellent and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is the BEST EVER!!!!

I first met Dr. Sawyer in January, 2022, after being in the emergency and I was diagnosed with cancer. He introduced himself to me and told me that he would be my oncologist only if I wanted him to treat me for my cancer. I was very scared, I had never been sick like this before. He quickly put me at ease and said he had a plan for treatment. I was so relieved that I was not going to die. Dr. Sawyer has treated me all of this year 2022, and in October, 2022, Dr. Sawyer gave me the good news of the remission of the cancer I had.

A great surgeon that has amazing bedside manner
It is not too often you find a great surgeon with good bedside manner. Typically the best surgeons have horrible bedside manner, but I can truly say Dr. Sawyer is a rare find. A great surgeon with great bedside manner. Dr. Sawyer is one of the most empathetic surgeons I have ever met. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and goes above and beyond to answer any questions. He took the time and explained all the potential things that could happen so I did not have any surprises waking up from surgery.

Dr. Sawyer and his team saved my life. They performed a complex c-section hysterectomy related to my placenta percreta to safely deliver my baby and deal with all of the bleeding and complications that can accompany this condition. They are simply the best in this part of the country. My family is eternally grateful.
