Wonderful bedside manner with my 7 year old son! Great recommendation to do massage therapy as scar is minimizing wonderfully!

Do not choose this doctor if you need extended consultation or immediate attention to your condition. Be prepared for last minute cancellations of your appointments as was my experience recently. Difficult to reach personally when I developed problems with my cast. Had to wait for an appointment difficult to get appointment for correction. West Med portal not a substitute for personal discussion of immediate problems or developments. Suggest you do not accept referral to PAs except for previously well defined standard simple treatments to minimize the possibility of ineffective and or undesired treatments as I experienced with my hand problems.

No regard for his patient's time as is the case with many doctors. I don't imagine Dr. Abernathie would want to be kept waiting for more than 45 minutes without any notice from the staff. Condescending too. Show some respect for your patients - oh and solve their medical issues too (didn't solve mine). (If the concept of telling patients there will be a sizable delay is tough to comprehend, imagine yourself in a restaurant, where the waiter does not communicate with you for more than 45 min.)
