very bad time management
I had a hysterectomy and checked into the hospital at scheduled time of 9:30 am. I went into surgery at 3:45 pm. On the follow-up visit in his office I checked in at scheduled 9:20 am and he walked into the room at 10:40 am. The surgery and follow-up visit were stressful enough without waiting for such a long time. I like Dr Bartholomew but his time management is not good.

Overall good Dr hopefully his truthful about my health and I have a safe delivery but don’t like the long wait in office to be seen it’s roughly like a whole hour in a half wait to be seen hope that will get better later down in the future.

Great Dr and office
I’ve come to this office for regular appts and also prenatal appts. Dr Bartholomew and Laura Deleon are both great and answer my questions and address all of my concerns at every visit. I love coming here for my prenatal appointments because they have the ultrasound tech and also a phlebotomist in the office for bloodwork so I don’t need to go anywhere else for my appointments. Yes, sometimes I have to wait longer for my appointment but that’s not unheard of for this type of office. I used to go to the Sahara WHASN which is a lot bigger but this office is a lot nicer and newer.

Dr Bart is the very best in all of Las Vegas. He has been my Dr for 27 years, therefore I have recommended him to several people who are also very satisfied with him and the office staff. Tina you’re the best as well. Thank you all.

T1D Nightmare
Dr. B almost killed me after neglecting to follow directions for administering my insulin immediately before, during, and after my emergency c-section. Between Dr. B's office, my high-risk doctor's office, and my endocrinologist, I had nearly 60 prenatal encounters with medical providers. I worked hard during my pregnancy to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and had the lowest A1C levels since being diagnosed with T1D at 17. It was no surprise that I was insulin dependent. My high risk doctor sent orders to Dr. B for an IV insulin drip during my c-section. Dr. B made a game time decision to NOT follow these orders which resulted in me developing DKA. Also, there were two times that he called me a chicken. Once when I inquired about getting a C-section, he told me that would be, "the chicken's way out," and again after I had my baby he said that if I was a chicken and didn't want to remove the surgical tape from my incision that he could do it at my follow- appointment.

I agree. The staff are not nice, not just one person its the whole vibe. Don't care attitude. I had surgery w him, woke up and had to be admitted from complications AND had overflowing catheter in me- Summerlin Hospital sucks. The office is in a great location and most doctors in Vegas are absolutely horrific Dr B is a genuinely nice person, however the office is so disorganized and runs so behind schedule you wait for 2 hours before every appointment. They give you a paper to sign that says your insurance will pay for 1 thing today (a check up meaning no mention of any new symptoms?) so PAP has 2 wait till next visit in 3 months so you will miss another half day at work (still haven't had one) herein lies the problem, why are they 2 hrs behind ALWAYS! Learn how to manage schedule-point it- he is not a bad doctor, he is compassionate, he listens, his office staff sucks, they are inefficient, it ruins it for him. Period. Doctors are only as good as their staff. Dr B's staff kills it.

Visited twice. First time was in person, wait time was reasonable. Had to fill out a form with the same info I also had to input into iPad, but not a big deal. Second time was telehealth. 1) Had to wait two hours after my appointment time to see him. 2) Staff filled in my phone number incorrectly so I couldn't check in online. 3) I got bloodwork done and called Dr. Bartholomew's office to add on several tests. They assured me they would call the lab to do so. When my test results came back, the extra tests weren't included, so clearly they'd forgotten to contact the lab to add on those tests. Nobody apologized or took responsibility for this. My insurance only covers bloodwork done once a year, so if I want to get those tests anytime soon, I'll have to get my blood drawn *again* and pay for it out of pocket. 4) He read my lab results and shrugged his shoulders, had no idea what's wrong with me. So total waste of time.

I cant with this office and MD. Dr Bartholomew has a good humorous personality, BUT, he didnt listen to what I had to say about my symptoms. They even confused themselves thinking that they prescribed me something they never did. They ordered me all these unnecessary tests that I got billed for. Didnt make any sense since these should be regular pregnancy symptoms that they should already be aware of. Seems like they just want to bill bill bill for the money. His nurse practitioner made me feel like she was in a hurry to get me out of my appointment. Half of the office staff have attitudes, and did not make me feel welcomed or had any concern for my pregnancy. I witness them upset other patients in front of the lobby. Speaking of lobby, IT IS EXTREMELY SMALL, chairs are too close together to the point where my knees are touching the person's in front of me. You may have the skills for delivery, but as a Dr/NP/office staff, you should be making ALL your clients feel safe and secure.

Unbelievable!!! I was pleased with the provider who I saw 3 times for the same issue (not sure exactly why) since he had already decided I needed a procedure. He was waiting for me to make a decision to go forward with the procedure since its a major surgery. I took a few months to decide and now staff wants me to return again to tell him that. I refuse to go back again to tell him "I'm ready" yet they will not book my procedure and I can come back for a pre-op visit. They want to bill my insurance and me for a visit now to say "ok I'm ready" then a preop then a post op, just to make money. Looking for a provider that cares about me not my insurance.

If I could rate him no star's I would, the worst doctor I have ever been to in 25 years of living, they discharged me at 35 weeks pregnant because I didn't make a appointment because I started a new job and didn't know my hours, when I was going I would always have to wait a hour in a half or 2 hours to be seen with a scheduled appointment to see a nurse for 10 minutes, or be over scheduled wait a hour or more and then have to reschedule weeks out , I haven't been to the doctor in almost 2 month

My doctor is Dr. Brent Bartholomew and he is absolutely Awesome! He's been my ob/gyn for many years. He delivered my youngest son & eventually did a robotic hysterectomy due to medical problems that were out of my control. He has a great bedside manner, so funny and is always patient with all my silly and embarrassing questions. Not only is he a great doctor but a fantastic surgeon as well. I feel so lucky to have found someone who gives such great care! Thank you Dr. B for all that you do!!

I've never had such a bad experience in my life. Scheduling was difficult, office staff gave me attitude if I needed to reschedule and would almost force me to see the NP. Dropped the ball big time with my pregnancy. I didn't get an anatomy scan at 20 weeks I had to realize it, and then they tried to have me pay for it, when it was their fault, then dropped the ball again and I almost miscarried because of it. Please for your own safety, do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Bartholomew refused to prescribe me a birth control pill that was approved by my insurance company. The insensitivity of his office staff was disgraceful in resolving this issue, and I was left unprotected.

Referred to Dr. Bartholomew by a family member. My pregnancy was high risk. Dr. Bartholomew really took the time to educate me on high risk pregnancies and his office took care all the outside scheduling for specialists. I appreciated his attention to details and the above and beyond accommodations his staff went through to make me feel comfortable. I love my sister for the referral and continue to pay it forward by referring to such a fabulous office.
