He never examined my child. He let the NP perform the exam. The NP examined my child, ordered tests and found nothing wrong. NP attempted to blame us for her lack of skills and said we were being discharged. As parents, we knew better and demanded the referenced doctor exam our child himself. He walked in, sat down and tried to talk us into leaving in a patronizing manner. We proved there was an issue beyond the NP's faulty exam, which was performed 3 times prior to the diagnosis. Because we were correct and he and the NP were wrong, they ordered several unnecessary tests. After the diagnosis, the NP tried to blame me for informing her incorrectly and then goes on to alter the chief complaint. We spent several hours trying to get our child examined and treated. Yes, we were upset, tired and frustrated, but what parent of an unwell child wouldn't be. We were treated very poorly and far from satisfactory. The doctor we were referred to even said what they did to fix the issue was wrong.
