I would give a 0 if I could. Rude staff and Dr. totally useless. Said they would do referrals. Hasn't happened. Wasted trip and wasted time. Can we not get decent Dr.'s in this area.

Well cared for before, during, and after my left rotator cuff repair. Following repair, I rolled my kayak bare handed for the first time ever (very unusual past 50) in a class 4 rapid. Later, I was running a class 5 rapid and dropped into a big hole (hydrolic), got spun like a window shade, rolled my kayak on the back deck for the first time ever in my 25+ years of kayak experience (also very unusual past 50) and back endered out of the hole. Good thing because that river was very wide and the hole deep and hard to get out of. The guy following me hit the same hole and couldn't get his boat out. He got out and had to swim to the bank (long, rough, swim). His kayak stayed in the hole for about 30 seconds, then washed out. I got his kayak to the bank. He was a little beat up but otherwise ok. We continued on down the river and finished the trip uneventfully. I couldn't have done that prior to surgery. So, thanks Dr. Davis and team.

Late pm April 6, 2019 I fell and broke my hip. had some issues with Dr. Davis after he did my knee replacement the previous Dec, but it had finally turned out OK, so we went our local hospital. Early Sun AM Dr. Davis told me he wanted to place pins in the fracture if he could, but he couldn't be sure until he got in there. I begged him if the was ANY doubt to please just replace hip, I only wanted to go through this once. He agreed. He ordered a CT scan prior to surgery and told me it was fine. Approx 2 months post-op I had increasing pain with wt or movement. His PA did X-ray, diagnosed bursitis and told me to rest, use walker again; 5 weeks til next appt. 12 days later with records and X-rays I saw another MD. He said the pins had migrated and needed to be removed, total hip prosthesis put in as prior CT showed early AVN. It required extensive repair. I almost died post-op; and again a week later. Dr Davis lied and ruined my life!! Didn't want to waste time on a Sun w a medicare pt!

Dr Brent Davis is the BEST! In November of 2017 I had a total lt knee replacement. The whole experience was great. His office staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. You can tell he cares about his patients...has a great bedside manner and will answer any questions/concerns the patient has. My leg is straight now.....and kid you not I did not have pain after surgery. Only slight burning and was up walking in the Hosp Right after I came out of recovery. My knee is perfect now!!!

I went to Dr. Davis after having what I thought were problems with my neck. After an MRI, physical therapy, and 4 appts. driving 2 hours each way to Clyde, NC, It was determined that I had a problem with my shoulder I was then referred to Dr. Davis. I walked in thinking I was probably going to need surgery for what I thought was a torn rotator cuff. He sat with me asked some questions, did an exam and then gave me my options. OMG he gave me an injection to the site and I haven't had any pain.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Davis. From our experience on many occasions, including total knee replacement, ctr, and injections in our shoulder, knee, hand etc, Dr. Davis has been thorough in his explanations of our various procedures, with great success in everything he has done for our particular needs. We would both recommend, and have recommended, Dr. Davis to many of our friends and indeed almost everyone we talk to who is facing an orthopedic problem of any kind.
